I saw all these reviews after I bought it about how the quality was so bad and was disappointed. But after receiving the item I can’t agree mine did not come in bad shape and it comes with so much stuff and the kids really like it! It is good quality and comes with many small Items also good quality. I am happy with this purchase.

We bought this for my son for Christmas. The door is already falling off and the back is coming off. It's day two. I'm very dissatisfied. He loves Blues Clues and we love Melissa and Doug so I'm sad that this product is so poorly made.

Started falling apart day 1

We purchased this mailbox because my toddler just became obsessed with Blue's Clues and he LOVES it. The problem is, the base started falling off the same day we bought it and now (day 2) the screw on the door's plastic hinge has popped off the door. Neither are a surprise since the base wasn't level to begin with (rocking on a flat surface) and the door takes a bit of effort to open and close. We superglued the base back on, but there isn't much we can do about the hinge. Very disappointed as we usually love our Melissa & Doug products.

Mailbox door difficult to open

Really cute toy, my daughter loves it! My only issue with it is that the mailbox door is really difficult to open. My 4 year old and I both really struggle to get it open. I’m worried she will stop enjoying it because of this problem. We’ll just have to wait and see.

I purchased this item for my 2 year old grandson for Christmas. I was so disappointed. There isn't anyway my grandson can open the mailbox by himself. It was even difficult for me to open. Needless to say, he never plays with it.

C’mon, Melissa and Doug. I want to love you guys, but your workmanship and quality control is shoddy and disappointing. The face of Mailbox popped off within 10 minutes of GENTLE use! I had to super glue it back together. There’s sloppy work all over the mailbox. The only reason I’m giving it two stars is because we LOVE Blue’s Clues.
I would buy this again.

I love getting involved with him and showing him how to put together the envelopes and letting him put it together. I love that the materials are durable and not flimsy. There's so much to learn from this set. He gets to play while learning about how letters and mailing letters off works. Plus he adores Blues Clues so it gives him even more initiative to play with it. Overall I enjoy this, he enjoys this and I recommend for your little ones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was so excited with this Blue's clues mail set. The mailbox is so cute. She enjoyed putting the wood stamps on the letters via velcro. She loved playing memory game with the wood chips and the puzzle was her favorite. One side blue and one side pink. It's only 4 pieces so she was able to do it by herself. The reusable stickers on the postcards kept her entertained. She got the whole family sending her mail. When shes done she just puts everything inside the mailbox. This mail set is so much fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is fun for our little Blues Clues fan. There are some drawbacks that left her and I disappointed. The letters are a little hard for her to put in. They must be placed a certain way. In order to hear phrases, you must pull the red lever. They don't have the mail time song or phrase which she picked up on quickly. Stickers were placed nicely. My two year old plays rough and it has stayed in perfect shape. Letters are a good size for her and the colors are identical to the real one in the cartoon. She loves this toy and has had hours of fun with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was very excited when he saw this arrive in the mail. He couldnt wait to open the box but he only played with it for a few minutes. First he was very disappointed that the mailbox didnt make noise. Also he wasnt impressed with the reusable stickers, they didnt stick very well. From a construction standpoint, i. like that it was mostly wood, but i wish the hinge on the mailbox was better. I can see it easily breaking after a few times of being played with. there was good variety with the pieces and the artwork is very nice. but overall, i dont see my son playing with it.

He loved being able to decorate and redecorate the outside of the mailbox. The stickers adhere but can easily be pulled off and swapped out. He loved stamping a letter, putting it in the box, and putting the flag up. All of the characters from the show made it fun as well!

It comes with puzzles, a memory game, envelopes letters, stamps and a mailbox. Also they have a few sheets of reusable stickers for the post card and letters. This is a great learning tool to help kids with memory and motor skills. The fact that it's the blues clues mailbox was cool it's self! I recommend this activity mail box for boys and girls!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After growing up with Blues Clues myself, I was excited that my kids have the opportunity to learn through this set. It opens up a good conversation about the mail, mail delivery persons, what you have to put on a letter/package to get it where it needs to go, and our own address. My kids went for the mailbox and the little present package firsr but found the matching game and lastly we all worked on the pretend letters together. They engaged right away with all aspects of this toy. Younger kids will probably need some assistance with what each item is for initially but then they should be able to plqy independently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute toy with lots of options for open ended play which is what I have grown to love about so many of Melissa and Doug's toys. My twins are 3 years old and immediately broke into imaginative play creating letters for all of our family members that live far away. My only complaint was the mailbox was a little hard for them to open on their own, but they are on the younger end so it might not be hard for older children.
