Great toy. It does dents the wood when the top drops, picture after 1 day of use. My 1,3,5 year old all had fun playing with this toy.
Doesn’t always work

I really like the concept of this and my 2 year old granddaughter is very interested in it but 2 of the tops often don’t work. What we’ve found with ours is that the red top almost always spins well, the green top sometimes spins and the blue top almost never works —it just falls through to the bottom. So it gets very frustrating. I don’t know if this is true for others or if there’s a glitch in the one I purchased. If all the tops worked fairly consistently I would have given this at least 4 stars, possibly 5.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brain smart and fun to play with! This is such a great toy that involves the brain. My 1 year old and 3 year old love playing with this spin top toy. It is very durable and I don't have to worry about anything breaking. They loved pushing the tops down which then made it spin. It is a great sensory toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vibrant colors and durable construction make it a hit with both kids and parents. The engaging tapping action helps develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination in a fun and interactive way. Plus, the variety of patterns and shapes keeps little ones entertained for hours. It's a definite winner in our household!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 3 1/2 and he really liked this toy! I think he’s a little old for it but he seemed to enjoy it and played with it for a long time. One thing I don’t like is how the tops dent the wood but that’s to be expected with wooden toys!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Melissa and Doug with this fun developmental toy from Melissa place three different colored lids in the corresponding wells and use the easy-grip plunger to push them and make them fall and spin on the sturdy wooden base I like it because it helps children to teach cause and effect and help recognize and combine colors a. develop motor skills, the material is good and resistant, easy for children to grasp, the one who enjoys it the most is my 18-month-old girl, the colors motivate her. ideal for children.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to review this Melissa and Doug toy from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. The Match and Push Spinning Tops makes for a fun learning toy for my toddler. She is the perfect age for this and loves how it spins when you push down on the top. It has three different colors to push down on. Each color spins when you push down. This toy is very sturdy and will be one that my toddler plays with for a while! I would definitely recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 1 yr old grandson loves this toy. It keeps him learning for at least 30 minutes at a time before he goes and plays with something else for awhile. But he always comes back to play with it later in the day. It helps with his hand and eye coordination. Also his color recognition. It’s more educational than a lot of toys on the market. I would have taken a picture of him playing with it but his mom doesn’t want him in the internet….i understand so I hope you do too. I’d recommend this toy to kids between 1-3 years old. It keeps my grandson entertained and learning too which is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a pretty simple toy is very easy for my kids to figure out without reading the box and it doesn’t come any instructions. Although it’s simple. I’m pretty sure my kid will stop playing with it by the weekend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this product by Melissa and Doug and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I have a 3 year old so I do think this would be better suited for a younger toddler bc he does have his cognitive skills down so he wasn’t as enamored for as long as he usually is with toys with this one. If he was a year younger I think this would be a fantastic way to learn! It’s a quality toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids and I usually love Melissa and Doug toys but this one fell short. It is well built but the toy itself isn't very entertaining. All of my kids used for less than 5 minutes and then forgot about it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally love Melissa & Doug toys but I’m not impressed with this one. I try to look for toys that will grow with my kids but this has very limited play potential. I got this for my 3 year old son (the box says this is for children 2+) and he’s already bored with it. He did get excited seeing the tops spin at first, but he was on to the next toy after five minutes. It says it’s good for fine motor skills and for matching colors but there are only three colors and the tops go in so easily that I don’t think it’s really promoting fine motor skills all that much. The part used to push the tops down was getting stuck while trying to get it placed on the tops. You do have to use a little bit of force to get it to go down too. I think a 2 year old may have a little more difficulty using this. Also, the part where the tops fall on is already indented. I will say that I like that it has a place to hold the top pusher so you don’t misplace it. It’s also aesthetically pleasing. I just wish there was more to this toy. Unfortunately, I don’t think my son will play with it for long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Melissa and doug toys and my 2 yr old has a ton. She was super excited to play with this and got to it as soon as I took it out of the box. I like that there is minimal assembly with most toys and they are great for fine motor skills.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little guy just turned two, and he was immediately interested when I brought this out. It gave about ~15 minutes of concentrated focus, which I feel like its pretty good when it’s competing with YouTube videos. It was a little hard to use, but he figured it out eventually.
