Don’t waste your money. This was such a pain to use and it didn’t work properly. There could’ve def been better ways to make a sword. The design made it super difficult to use this.
Fun! Need a strong UV light for setting the resin.

If these are not setting up for you, your UV light isn't strong enough. I have bought so many of these, and I noticed they took a while to set up, but they did cure completely after about 10-15 mins under my UV light for doing gel nails. The glitter can be super messy, but the outcome is awesome. I love the attention to detail. Some molds can be tricky to fill properly because it seems the resin doesn't want to come out of the added tip for tight spaces sometimes.

Don't believe any of the horrible ratings for this product, all you need is a good enough UV light. My mold took 4 minutes to set and harden using a basic UV nail curing light. You gotta read both the instructions, especially if you've never used resin before. I recommend watching some YouTube tutorials if you are struggling.

This product was very messy and I had bought two of them. one of them didn't have all the pieces and then the resin was hardened already when I opened it. The resin wouldn't even go down into the mold of the other one.

The bottle of resin is very difficult to use, and the resin does not harden on its own as the instructions claim. Absolutely useless.

Yes the resin does take forever to cure, but if you use a UV light it does speed the process up. It takes about 2 hours of continuous UV light to actually set, but even still they will stay liquid in the middle for some time. My biggest issue with them is getting the molds completely filled. But having said that, i actually really enjoy putting these together just wish i got more than the elvan sword, i have bought six of these and three of them were elvan swords.
buy the harry potter ones instead!

Amazing idea. And if you can get the product to work, amazing. But it really is a pain. It said it air dries .. it doesn't. So I got the uv light out (for nails) and started setting projects. The swords are a pain and rarely come out in one piece. They don't set well, I think the molds are too thick? Resistant to the light? Because it takes an eternity. I love the sword or 2 I managed. But my nephew was not so fortunate. And I've got some broken swords as well.

Its not worth the hassle i bought 2 each one had something wrong with it one the resin had spilled everywhere and was missing parts. The second the resin harden in the container making it useless not worth the mess or time buy another one

Ive had a whole case of these at this point. Yes they were from different boxes. My daughter loves making different sets and she has a UV light for curing them. We've had several different sets over the years but the lotr have been the worst. Not sure if anyone else is having issues getting them to set but we have yet to have a set that will cure and harden. Even with the UV light it doesnt work. She has spent days putting this last one under UV and leaving it sitting in the window in the sun and it is still mostly liquid. She has gone through 3 of the harry potter ones with no issues. So Im left wondering is the resin in the lotr sets different? Is there a better way to get them to cure?

Terrible “toy” - I’m a 30 year old woman and I struggled with it! Had no idea it was a resin kit until I opened it. I have never worked with resin before and this does not make me want to. The resin never dried despite putting it in direct sunlight for HOURS. Finally invested $20 in a UV flashlight - we’ll see if that does the trick. But the fact that this does not come with all the supplies you need definitely makes it a 1-star product.

On sale because the resin doesn't cure! Stayed liquid even after letting sit overnight for 10hours. (Also highly don't recommend for children, the glitter is super messy)
