Item arrived missing a piece and having another duplicated. Because I purchased this in October and gave it as a Christmas gift it wasn't opened until the end of December. Miniverse told me they would send a replacement in January. It's March and I still haven't received it. When I contacted them again they said it was out of warranty and they won't help me. Buyer beware. They have awful customer service and don't stand behind their products.

I'm only giving three stars because they don't give you two cauldrons with resin so you can make both potions. In the photo it shows both potions and I think that's a bit of a cheat if you ask me.

My daughter was so thrilled to receive this for Christmas. This is an absolute mess and a disaster. I should’ve known better, the mini make its are typically a struggle, but this one was sticky, an absolute mess, and very disappointing. Had I paid full price, I would’ve figured out a way to pack it all up and return it. A lot of the things she had to throw away, because they were completely unusable after she was trying to make the potions. She’s 12, and this was a challenge for her, I can’t even imagine kids that were younger trying to make these potions. Cute idea. Stay away!!

This wasn’t as magical as we were hoping! We really wanted to love this, overall it’s a fun concept. The resin is super sticky and makes a huge mess. My kids couldn’t stand the way it felt. Maybe include gloves?

I did not like this at all. It was difficult and messy to assemble. At the end it was just one potion and it was whatever. I ended up throwing it away the day after we set it up. Thankfully I got in on sale for $25, but still, disappointed 😞.

I was very excited about this purchase. Let me be clear I am an adult. The instructions were unclear. The tiles for the walls were plastic wrapped to each “wall”, you take the plastic off and glue the tiles down…the problem was that both walls used the same numbers for the tiles (all the tiles for the floor and walls are numbered so you will know where to place them). I opened both “walls” before I realized the numbers were the same for each wall and the walls are different. Also, you only get enough resin (what you make the “potions” with) to make half a bottle of one potion. To say that I was upset is a vast understatement! If I had known that the directions were lacking or the small amount of resin you would receive, I wouldn’t have purchased this product as it was for the price I paid. I don’t have a problem with products that promote the purchase of other products. The problem I have is when you have to purchase other products to complete the item you bought in the first place. This is ridiculous! Do not purchase this product unless you are ready to buy more of the miniverse products to complete this “room!”

Looks like a great set but wouldn't advise for 8 year olds as the resin is VERY sticky. On wall 2, pieces 21 and 24 are mismarked, it should be switched. Other than that, it looks like a fun set. Not to scale for magical minis and too small for the 8" Harry Potter dolls. Recommended for young adults/the original Harry Potter fans. Kids definitely need adult help.

It’s cute but wouldn’t recommend especially since it’s close to 50 dollars you would think it would have more to do like their other ones but it just feels like your paying for the name and that’s pretty much it would have been better if they gave you more things to do instead of two potions or would have been fine if their was other things to do besides that

Overall it’s a cute set and was fun to assemble but was disappointed that it only comes with enough resin to make one potion and honestly it was barely enough for one. The $50 price is too higher for what you get. But if you’re able to snag this for $25 it’s not too bad.

Haven’t opened it yet but I am so excited to make it. I know there is only like two potions to make and I’m fine with that. I’m more excited to make the floors and walls then display all my other potions I’ve made. I think it is 100% worth the money and I can’t wait to open mine.

My 10 year old loves the Miniverse Make it Mini Potions so I thought she would love this too. She put this set together in about 5 minutes and was extremely disappointed when she could only make 2 potions. Unlike the Make it Mini potions this one came with minimal instructions. She felt like she was making up her own potions which would generally be fine except she thought these would have a name/be themed to the Wizarding world. I went ahead and bought her a set of mini bottles at a craft store so she could make up her own potions. It’s definitely not worth paying full price for. I paid half of the price as I had this item price matched to another store.
Such a cute idea but is lacking.

I’m happy I got this on sale, otherwise I’d feel super ripped off. Upon opening, one of the boxes of resin already exploded on the items. So I was one bucket less of resin. Luckily I was able to spread what I had-I was cutting it close though. Another issue was that I was a missing a piece of brick tile. If I paid full price- I paid for a faulty toy with missing product. It appears this product isn’t as streamlined as it could be. It’s a shame!

Disappointment guaranteed if you purchase this Harry Potter set. This set had so much potential but totally fell short with only including resin for one potion. Why would the set include empty potion bottles and plenty of color and fillers for 2+ potions…. but only include resin for one? The instructions show two recipes and give all the supplies for two potion recipes - but then include the word “OR”… you child has to choose between one potion or the other. Oversight for sure. Building the potions is the climax of the whole building experience, and my daughter’s shoulders totally slumped when she realized she only got to create one bottle. Meh. It took maybe 10-15 for my daughter to glue the floor tiles on and to assemble the furniture. The wall portions are also glued together. The photos on the box are totally misleading. Long story short - don’t buy this with them hopes of being able to concoct multiple options.

Super glad I bought this on sale. This entire set and you can make ONE potion! Might as well buy the individual little balls (maybe that’s the point to buy more for the set). Kind of a let down but my kiddo had a good time messing with all of the potion ingredients either way.
