Description
Budding paleontologists excavate a dinosaur skeleton that's buried in plaster using heavy-duty tools. Then, it is time to snap the hard, plastic bones together to make a complete T-Rex. Loved this for my 4year old, with a little instruction and demonstration he was busy for 45mins to and hour and still had more bones to discover. Just a heads up I would probably recommend this as an outdoor activity. Well worth the money and time spent- dinosaur was able to be put together and was nice enough to be displayed in his room. Would buy again for my other sons!

Great project for our 5 year old. He did need help with it at times, but he worked hard and loves playing with his treasures. Older kids would love it and would be more independent with it too. Good way to kill a few hours for a kids project

This dig lasted for hours and the build of the T-Rex at the end was a great challenge. My 8 year old said "this is awesome"... Great buy because he keeps rebuilding the T-Rex over and over.

My Dino loving 5 year old was very excited about this but the chisel and the pick both broke within the first ten minutes of using it. If this activity is really for an 8 year old it might have broken even sooner. Very disappointed and now have use Dad’s tools to complete it.

Dangerous. Inhaling plaster made my son allergies kick in. His eye got red, he started coughing and sneezing. Do not buy this. My kids wore masks and eye wear and they still had a cough.

The dinosaur does NOT stand on it own for display. Also, be careful when you excavate this thing. It states to seek immediate help if it gets in eyes or mouth. Very annoying since its marketed towards kids. Had to mask up and wear eye gear. I would not buy it again.

This kept my 8 and 5 year old boys engaged for a few hours on a cold day. Both boys kept saying, "this is fun"! They enjoyed it start to finish-digging, cleaning the fossils, and assembling. They needed some help from an adult since they are younger.
