Minecraft Legends The Devourer Action Figure Set with Slime

The hole on the back is the perfect size for a little kid’s finger, and it has cut outs in the hole that grab the skin when you try to get the finger out. Not safe! My 5 year old son got a cut on his finger.

Whenever Minecraft comes out with these big characters (and he is big....) my grandson always adds them to his wish list. This one is heading his way for birthday #11. He has quite an arsonal!

It even comes with slime which is amazing he sat there for hours playing putting the slime in and shooting it on his other toys it’s brilliant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son absolutely loves anything Minecraft. He has so much fun with all of Mattel’s Minecraft toys. This was another hit for him as well. The only downside is, as with anything with slime, it’s a bit messy and a pain to clean up. But still overall a fun toy!

It’s slime feature is super cool even though it is a bit messy it’s worth it. Also the collectible figure is a added bonus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy looked Amazing and my son was really excited to play with it, however when we received it we put it together and put the slime in the top part which then just automatically dripped out of the mouth and didn’t give us chance to even squeeze the part at the back, also the slime all went over the the door where you put it in that meant we couldn’t then get it back open and I had to use something to do this, overall my son enjoyed it for a few minutes and then he hasn’t wanted to play with it again unfortunately and he is Minecraft mad so it’s a shame

It keeps him occupied when bored and is a great addition to any kids toy collection if they love Minecraft. Would highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is a massive minecraft fan and has been for along time, so this was always gonna be a massive hit. The slime is abot messy so he has to play with this on a try. But he loves having it puke slime on to his Alex and Steve characters. It's easy to refill with slime using a little gatch at the top. Not so easy to clean out though. This is really well built and strong too .

My son tried playing with it like a toy but it broke really quickly. I felt more like it was something to go on display in a kids room then a toy to play with.

It was quick to get open and start playing with, and the slime coming out of the character's mouth was suitably gross and enjoyable for a 6-year-old, but that was kind of it, really. The slime was the big sell for this for my son, and he enjoyed that, but after an hour or so, he got bored of the slime and did play with the toy without any slime, but the issue is that the character doesn't really do anything, it's a pretty solid piece of plastic with moving legs, but that's about all it does, and that didn't really keep my son occupied for very long. He loves it, though, which is the main thing, but he loves it as a display piece on his shelf in his room, as he likes that it's a Minecraft toy, and so displays it with pride, but as a playable toy, other than the slime aspect, which has now all gone, unfortunately, it's a bit of fail sadly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved the MINECRAFT LEGENDS DEVOURER Figure to review through Mattel's Play, Rate, & Review program. My child was excited by how big it was when it arrived (almost 10 inches) and that it came with an extra 3 inch figure/player. My child isn't a big fan of slime, but took a chance and found it "satisfying." I am happy to say it is not too sticky, and easy to clean up from the toy and the play surface (I put wax papet down to be safe, but the little that got on the table easily came off). It can be difficult to open the slime compartment at the top, but my child pried it open with a pen. Once the slime is in, gravity starts to pull it out of the Devourer's mouth, and my child said it would be better with a lever to push it down. When you squeeze the cubes on it's back, it creates air bubbles in the slime. The Devourer continues to join in Mindcraft adventures around my house.

My 5 year old has recently really gotten into Minecraft and has been asking for toys to play with. He paired this with another new toy he got that day and created stories with them for several hours. It would be great if there were refills made for the slime.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun toy! I was pleasantly surprised by how big the Devourer figure was! Like 10 inches, with bulky movable arms. It looks fantastic sitting on the shelf when the kids aren't playing with it. The ranger (3.25") is a great size compared to some of the smaller Minecraft figs on the market. Now, the slime. It is bright green, sufficiently viscous, goopy slime. It's a fun idea because of course, slime makes everything better -- the mushroom spore basically blasts air into the top chamber to push/puke slime out of the Devourer's mouth. Genius! But -- it also doesn't work super well- more like slime oozing out by gravity. Lol maybe it's for the best since this stuff is definitely gonna stain. Both the Devourer and the Ranger are also well made, as far as construction and sturdiness. The ranger is articulated, with movable head and limbs, but I'm surprised that they made it with so many crevices that you can't get the slime out of. Also surprising considering the Devourer's slime chamber is so smooth and decently easy to clean out. I doubt we'll use the slime often, but in the meantime this set is gonna get great rotation in my 7 and 9 yr olds' off-screen Minecraft playtime!

He uses other figures he already had and they all line up and “interact” easily. He loves the slime because he’s seven and all seventy year olds love slime! Even my four year old will play with it.
