Q: how can i view back the footage

  • A: Hi Footage, thanks for contacting Team MOBI. This device will not save any video footage unless you have a Micro SD card inserted into the MobiCam. For this device, we recommend either a 32 or 64GB micro SD card. Once the card is inserted the device will automatically begin saving the video footage. It will be saved in one-hour increments, and you can view the video using the 'playback' button in the MobiCam App. If you have additional questions, Team MOBI would be happy to assist you further. We are available Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm PT. You can reach out to us through our online Support Desk so that we can take care of any concerns as soon as possible!

  • A: Hello and thank you for reaching out. The Micro SD card size depends on how much content you would like to have saved before it renews itself. For example, a 64GB Micro SD may hold approximately 3 days of content, whereas 128GB will double that, and so on. Also, if you set the MobiCam to Event Recording Vs. 24 Hr Recording, you will also store more days of content.

  • A: Thank you for taking the time to reach out! The device requires a standard 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal. The device can be connected with a Hotspot if placed in a vehicle, but it is not recommended. When connecting to a hotspot it is more common to experience offline problems.

    The picture quality is ok, about like an old android phone. But you can’t talk and listen at the same time. If you wanna say something you have to switch to mic and then back to speaker. By that time you can’t hear what they said. No way to tilt downwards to see full room

The stronger the connection the better the overall quality of performance versus a weaker connection.     Really poor quality. I know you get what you pay for but this camera isn’t even worth $10. It was so glitchy and had a huge delay in the audio and sound had to be really loud for it to even pick it up. Do not waste your time on this product.

To run a "speed test" Stand next to the location of your MobiCam. Put your cellphone in airplane mode and stay connected to the WiFi. Make sure your mobile device is connected to your 2.4GHz WiFi Open Google.com and search "speed test" Select "Run Speed Test" The recommended WiFi download speed is a minimum of 20 Mbps, and the recommended upload speed is a minimum of 10 Mbps. For the best quality, we strongly recommend having a 40mbps download speed and an upload speed of at least 10Mbps to ensure flawless use, as our cameras offer HD live streaming. Our cameras will function on as little as 20mbps download speed with some delays in audio and video.

    Stopped working after 4 months

    It was working fine for the first 3 months. But now that I've had it for 4 months, the cord is losing connection to the device. The device itself is kind of faulty. For about 2 months I stopped getting notifications and then randomly I started getting them again. The night vision is very glitchy. When I'm trying to listen to what's going on, there's way too much static noises. I've got into contact with someone from Mobi and they're sending me a new cord. Hopefully that will fix the connection issue.

The motion activated feature will alert your phone through the app and allow you to know when there is sudden movement that has not been present in that area in recent moments. If you are just monitoring an area and want to know if there is anyone in or out it also has a feature that will record and save the video feed for a set length of time. The system also allows you to add more cameras to other rooms or areas in your home. The camera itself is not a tiny hidden security camera but it is not big and bulky which does allow it to be positioned discreetly, it also features a very lengthy power cord so that you are not limited to the small area around your outlets. There is also a TalkBack feature which allows you to soothe waking babies or let loved ones know you are on the way to assist them. It could also be used to startle an unwanted person from the area. The video feed seems to have about a 4 second delay and the video is not highly defined and kinda of grainy at times, both of these may be effected by my internet quality and signal strength at the time as well. I would recommend to anyone who needs a simple system that is not needing a highly defined video or lengthy recording time.

It took a total of 10 min to set up the camera, app, and have it up and running. The picture quality is great, along with audio. I was surprised how well the night vision worked. I set it up in the kids play room, so if Im in the kitchen or restroom, I can still keep an "eye" on them. So not only can I hear them, but I can also speak to them if I am in another room. The first time I used the 2 way audio, was too funny, They thought I was The Great and Powerful Oz or something, not knowing it was possible. I must say they tend to get a long better, and fight less knowing I really can see and hear everything!!

It has WiFi, motion alerts, east connection to wifi and easy setup through the app. You can speak two ways through the camera. It also has night vision up to 40ft. you can log into the app and see everything going on in the room you set the camera up. I can talk to my son and dogs. It was easy to set up and It only took about 10 minutes to figure everything out with the easy setup instructions. I love the two way talk function. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone with pets or children.

    I read the other reviews but went ahead anyway, this monitor is completely unreliable. It sometimes says offline when plugged in and also sometimes I don't receive alerts until minutes after.

    Hello Mel, thank you for reaching out to us. We apologize the MobiCam is not operating as intended. If the MobiCam is connected to a solidified 2g Wi-Fi it should work as designed to. If the Wi-Fi is dual band (meaning one sign in for both 5g and 2g) you may want to have your provider split them where you can sign in directly to the 2g connection, or ask to access a GUEST connection (which is normally always 2.4ghz).
