A: Dear customer, Thank you for contacting us. The camera unit does not have battery inside and thus it always requires power plug-in. The parent unit has a lithium battery inside and it can work without power. In case, there is no power, the PIP1510-2 CONNECT does not work because the camera unit needs to have power plug in. Q: Why does the single camera of this model have a small mic on side of camera as opposed to when you purchase the 2 camera set those camera have no mic?

Don’t buy it. I really liked the camera itself. Then a day later it would disconnect for a split second and beep SO loudly. Did that throughout the day. Like I thought a fire alarm was going off for a second. And there’s no way to turn it down or fix it. I tried resetting everything. It’s just a fault in the camera I couldn’t get over.

Clarity is really good the motion detection is pretty good as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation and set up was super easy and fast! I love the split screen function, good picture quality. Good battery life so thus far! My only two complaints so far is that when on the split screen, which ever room is lit up, is the only one you can hear the sound for. So if you were on Harper's room and Cooper started crying I wouldn't be able to hear Cooper but I could see him, if that makes sense. The other complaint is that the noise level indicator is super bright and it lights up my room at night and I like it to be pitch black. Some of these features may be adjustable I just haven't found the setting if so.
I would buy this camera system over and over!

It shows your baby's temperature and detects sound or activity really well. The picture quality is great as well. Night vision and Day vision is very clear and the sound quality is also clear. I would have absolutely bought this product but was lucky enough to get it for free and test it through bzzagent. I love that it has split screen as an option on the handheld device so that you can see all cameras at the same time. This product is perfect for any family that has children. I have a camera on my baby and one on my toddler. It runs off your wifi and no additional costs. It also has an app for you to use on your phone to view the cameras. Super convenient, It's perfect!

I am a professional nanny and mother of 2 children, and I have used a lot of video monitors. There are so many better ones than this brand/model, and I actually loathe several things about it! 1) Laggy - mini heart attack a couple of times a day when the monitor shows an empty bed at naptime 2) Low Battery Life - this thing has then LOUDEST low battery beep, and there's not way to silence it... if it hasn't been on the charger for the night, it will do this at some point during the day 3) Short Range - it has an antenna on it, but there are certain parts of the house where there isn't a signal even with the antenna up - forget going in the back yard! 4) Video Monitor Handset - awful! It's heavy/clunky and difficult to use! Buttons are not very responsive and the onscreen menu options are just difficult. I think it's better when you have the app on your phone, but mom has it on her phone to check-in at work, and if I go on mine, it kicks her out. DON'T BUY!!!

It has 2 cameras so that I can monitor my child and make sure that he is safe at all times when he is in his room. The quality isn't the best but it's definitely good enough to work with. You can see both camera footages at the same time and you can move the cameras around with the mobile app. I highly recommend.

It's actually a great thing because I have two other toddlers that like to misplace things. I love the dual camera. I also love that you have both options to either see from your device or only the screen display. I work from my phone a lot and can't display my screen on my phone so I find it extremely helpful it has its own unit. Over all, the set up only took about 10 minutes from unboxing to it actually working. I really have no complaints.

I love being able to have the hand monitor to bring it with me if I do not want to have my phone on me. The split screen for two cameras is really nice as I get to use it in his crib as well as his playroom. We also like the notifications on the phone when he wakes up. I think this is a great travel monitor as well. The image/sound quality is great and have been loving it so far. It is really easy to use even my parents can use it! The only thing I wish was different is the screen monitor maybe being a little smaller to fit in a pocket would be great!

They both take naps in separate rooms and I have two designated separate cameras and monitors for them.... It's all fun and games until you can't find one or both of the monitors. I was so thankful that this Motorola Pip was gifted to me. I have two cameras in separate rooms and only ONE monitor for the both of them!!! I'm obsessed with the ability to split the screens in between both cameras. This has been a game changer for me! I now don't have to worry about carrying multiple monitors. This Motorola monitor is a great size too so it's not hard to lose. I love the ability to switch from both screens to just one screen if I only have one child down. The only thing I don't like is how everytime I turn on the monitor it goes to a page saying I can download the Motorola app. I don't need to see that everytime I turn it on. I get when trying to set up the system the first time is good enough to state that. The system overall works great for me. The views are bright and visible in the dark mode. I can't say enough nice things about this system. I'm just disappointed I didn't have these much sooner!!

You can move them from side to side with the monitor. The monitor shows both screens which is wonderful as well. The sound is great. It lags just a tad bit, but that is expected when dealing with baby cameras. Overall I am very satisfied and I would definitely recommend this product to a friend... With kids of any ages.

First of all, it comes with 2 cameras, which is already an improvement from the current one I have. Second, this one comes with a monitor and you can also use your phone. Third, the quality of the camera is so much better. I would definitely add this to my registry, for my next baby.

image quality is awful. Constantly loses camera connection & needs restarted which wakes us up at night because it beeps. Battery life is terrible. Would not purchase again and wouldn't recommend.

Very disappointed at night you can hardly tell anything it does pick up the motion though but even during the day I think the picture is poor especially for the price I had a different brand it was cheaper and better picture the motorized feature was why I bought it but think I’ll be returning and getting something different
