A: There's no indication that this product is cruelty-free. I would get the Ceramedx Ultra Moisturizing Cream. It's a knock off of CeraVe, but it's vegan and cruelty-free.

Q: I just purchased this from the store. There was no type of seal on the lid or little cover under the lid that goes on top of the cream. Is this normal packaging? i just want to make sure before I use.

This has been the best facial moisturizer i have ever used, if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. It doesn't leave an oily residue, it absorbs quickly, it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after like some alternative moisturizers and it doesn't make me break out. I have had the same jar for over 6 months and i'm only halfway through it, given, I only use it for my face. Some other ways I love to use this products are during makeup application, i put some on my cheeks to make blending my blush easier. Otherwise I will mix sunscreen into the moisturizer to add spf- I used this all summer. I love this

Love it! No oily after feel, quick to absorb, and makes the skin so soft! I primarily use this on my face every night after my shower and have done this for 8 months now. No adverse effects, and I've noticed softer skin and less acne/breakouts since the moisturizer lessens the dryness after my face washes. No need to spend a lot to have a great moisturizer!

Nice thick cream. Makes my skin feel great! I switched to Cerave after seeing a review from a dermatologist that said it had the necessary ingredients in expensive creams and was much less expensive. Later checked the target brand on the EWG app and found it has a better score than the Cerave.

I was looking for a cheap moisturizer and that’s what I got… This, for some reason, irritates my skin which doesn’t normally happen and if it does I normally look past it. This cream really didn’t work for me but, gave it 2 stars because it must work for someone :/ I ended up splurging and got la roche posay.

Honestly best moisturizer I've used. I love it so much. I use it everyday and I use it on sunburns because I'm allergic to aloe. Makes then go away so fast mixed with a little hyaluronic acid. Which honestly, even without the hyaluronic acid it still gets rid of my burns so fast. I don't think I'll ever switch back to CeraVe

This is not like CeraVe. It has a slimy feel and does not absorb well. I bought based on positive reviews and to save a little money but it’s not worth it. I suggest to buy Cerave or splurge on Avene instead.

Nope. This seems a deceptive product. The cream went on very thick and greasy. However it made my skin drier than before, just in less than 10 minutes after application. It does not equal to the Cerave cream at all

This is a great moisturizer. Whenever I’m just relaxing at home I’ll spread it thick all over my face and neck like a mask. It’s currently mid February and I’ve had a jar since last August. It’s still probably half to 2/3 full. I noticed cholesterol as an ingredient and found out this is very good for your skin, as are ceramides which my dermatologist recommended. I only wish they would specify whether this is vegan or not. I would prefer plant-based ingredients. But overall, no matter how much of this product I put on it absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling velvety which means it also makes for a nice primer. Will definitely keep using and buying.
