It is a weightless shampoo created especially for thin, lifeless and/or straight hair, with a thorough volume-building cleansing system and is ideal for fine or oily hair that needs a boost at the roots. Moreover, the VOLUME Conditioner is Great for helping mid lengths and ends feel supported. It will detangle and add shine without weighing hair down. It is safe to use, but if your hair needs a little extra TLC, our GENTLE line has the most mild cleansing system of all of our ranges, and also has the lowest percentage of fragrance (which means less chances of colour fading unnecessarily). the MOISTURE line of shampoo for this brand is AWFUL!!!! I usually use the SMOOTH, and that makes my hair shiny and soft. But for whatever reason I grabbed the MOISTURE shampoo last week, and my hair is legitimately breaking off in chunks! The amount of frizz that I have after just a week is ridiculous. My scalp has been extra oily and I feel the gritty feeling in my hair immediately after washing. Do not use this shampoo if you actually care about the health of your hair/scalp.

Felt like it wouldn’t fully clean my hair no matter how many times I shampooed. Left a thin film on my hair as well. It would start to get oily much faster than using my other redkin shampoo. Very sad about this.

Felt nice the first few washes. After about 2 weeks of use, my hair was falling out, not just natural shedding, but sections of my scalp became hard to hide. Clumps each wash. No diet changes, new stressed or health issues, all the same routine other than this shampoo

Poor Rating via Yuka app. After scanning UPC I can see all the ingriedients which are then rated Excellent to Poor. 29/100 is Poor. Moderate Risk: Phenoxyethanol is found in this product, which is found to have associated risks of endocrine disruptors, allergens, irritants, and pollutants.

Its use is approved globally, up to a maximum concentration of 1%. MONDAY’s formulas strictly adhere to this limit, ensuring the ingredient is present only in safe and regulated amounts. Without preservatives like Phenoxyethanol, products would be at risk of contamination, which could pose more significant safety concerns. While Phenoxyethanol is synthetic, it is also naturally found in certain foods like green tea and berries. Preservatives—whether synthetic or natural—must be effective to do their job, and all carry some risk of sensitivity for certain individuals. That said, MONDAY’s products are dermatologically tested and meet all regulatory standards for safety. Changed Formula 2024 - Beware!

I started using Monday shampoo and conditioner back in 2021 and it worked like a charm, my go to cleansing shampoo. I have very long thick dark brown hair and this was perfect no issues. However they changed the formula in spring 2024 on all their products and it’s ruined them. My hair feels greasy as it air dries (has never happened to me before with any shampoo) and leaves a film and is weighted down, I have to keep it in a bun just to hide the fact that it looks like I haven’t washed my hair in weeks! Sad to see these all changed but it just won’t work for me.

My hair is falling out, losing so much hair. And have only been using it for 2 weeks. I’ve NEVER had any issues with losing hair before using this shampoo and conditioner. It was the only thing I changed in my routine. Absolutely awful. I can feel how much thinner it is when I wear my hair up. Shedding so much and a lot of hair comes out when brushing. This stuff shouldn’t be sold anywhere!

I love the smell and they way it makes my hair feel. I have thin, long normally oily hair and this shampoo helps to control the oil and doesn't weigh down my hair. Not to mention the smell is amazing and clean
