    Frustrating

    It’s a picky, poorly made coffee maker. The carafe does poorly with the grounds. It doesn’t let the coffee fast enough for the water coming in and the grounds end up in the bottom carafe (pot). First time, I screwed up (my fault by using 2 filters which I have done with other models). 2nd time, I made very weak coffee with one filter and maybe 3-4 scoops (I can’t remember whether about the grounds). 3rd time, the grounds got down into carafe again. It was very frustrating. I’m going to see about returning.

    Not a good choice for a lefty

    This maker is designed for a right handed person so pretty inconvenient for me. My previous coffee maker lid opened to the back. This one to the left so I have to angle my body just to pour water into the resevoir. Another lid flaw is in regards to condensation. With my previous maker, opening the lid causes whatever condensation is on the lid to fall back into the resevoir. This lid causes some of that condensation to fall under the filter basket with no where to go. The volume markers on the pot are also on the left so I can't see the lines when holding the pot.

    I think it is great that there are programmable makers out there, I’m not a fan as more buttons, & more that can break. I bought it even though it was a few $ more than the programmable lol. I don’t mind shutting it off. I like that it now opens from the side as it simplifies putting the water in for me. I like that it is lighter than previous models, but pray it’s as durable. I’ve had keurigs in the past and they are great as well, but cups are expensive due to inflation w/ current administration js

    We purchased a new Mr. Coffee coffee maker a week ago, just before having company come. We used it twice and then it stopped working. Had to do a late night run to get another. Used it twice...and guess what? Yep, stopped working. One is a fluke, two is a quality control issue and, for us, a change to a different brand.

    The top is hinged at the side, not the back, so I was unable to use it in my too-small kitchen without a hassle. I never brewed coffee in it.
