    This is the third 5-cup Mr. Coffee maker I have purchased in five years, and I am done. I make one cup of coffee in the morning so I did not overuse this item, but the first two just stopped working at about 13-14 mos. The one I own now is about 16 mos. old, and it suddenly started making a noise like marbles were grinding when it brews! It hadn't been moved or tampered with. This is a pretty inexpensive item, and the first two were less than $25 which basically makes it a throw-away, but this last one was over $30, and it's just a pain to keep having to replace it. I started using Mr. Coffee when they came out in the early 1970's, and I have been loyal to their products until now. The products are definitely now of inferior quality.

    We have a small kitchen, and this fits perfectly. There are only two of us and this makes the perfect amount. I easily set the time, but I don't use the program, however, it turns off on its own regardless. (Gives you plenty of time to have a relaxing morning going back for coffee ☕️), but you won't ever have that 'did I turn off the coffee maker' gut feel again.

    Yes it makes coffee but you best like grounds in it. This brand of appliance has lost their way. Our last coffee maker was one of their better models and it was loaded with quality of life issues as well.

    This coffee maker is an utter joke.. its not 5 cups of fluid. Not 5 cups of coffee. IYS NOT 5 CUPS OF ANYTHING. It holds 3 fluid cups or 1.5 cups of coffee. (Cup of coffee being any human sized coffee mug).. WHERE DOES 5 COME FROM?.. NOWHERE!!!! THEY MADE IT UP FOR MARKETING PURPOSES. 3 cups of 1.5 cups DOESN'T SELL. Who the heck wants 1.5 cups of coffee? The ONLY person this is good for is a 3 fluid cup tumbler. Don't but this. Pray this company goes out of business for lying to consumers with zero repercussions.

    Stopped brewing after one year. The old Mr coffee pots lasted forever. I bought this one and as of today it no longer brews coffee. I've had it for one year. The last coffee pot I had lasted almost 10 years. This one is not worth it.

No worries, we are here to help. A bad-tasting coffee might be a cause of usage of not recommended coffee grinds for drip coffee makers. The ratio of your coffee grind and water might not be balanced or your coffee maker itself needs cleaning. To remedy this, only use a standard coffee grind. Ensure to put enough water into the water reservoir. Lastly, run a cleaning cycle into your coffee maker occasionally. We hope this helps. Have a great day!

    My beloved keurig broke and I didn’t want to spend $100 on something new. I’m so glad I bought this! I fill it to the 3 line and add about 2.5 scoops of my coffee. It brews just a tiny bit more than a k-cup on size 8 would. I think you could probably do more like 2.5 cups and it would be exactly the same. Taste is great. Cleaning is easy. Fits nicely on my counter. I mean seriously, this thing is great. I tend to feel like because something is cheap it won’t work well, and I was proved wrong this time. It’s sturdy and worth your money.
