There is no scientific proof that citronella works as a repellent, however I do love the scent and Murphy’s does a great job with it.

It is really helping to fight off the NO SEEUMS which are biting me up alive here in Florida. I burn the candle indoors and outdoors in the Murphy’s heavyweight candle holder. I also use the Murphy’s lemon eucalyptus liquid repellent before going outdoors. One Candle lasts 3-4 evenings.

These are so easy and ready to use, no mess, no fuss - simply take old refill out and replace. And they work like a dream!! So effective in eliminating pesky mosquitoes!!! Couldn’t ask for better!!

We love the fragrance of the candle! It does a decent job of keeping the mosquitoes at bay but I find I need to be in close proximity of the flame to deter the pests.
