Q: Difference between this product and the oil?

A: Thank you for your question! The purpose for both products are the same, to prevent stretch marks. The difference is that one is in the form of an oil and the other is a lotion. Both can be used at different times but we do find consumers choose either or according to their own preference.

The Stretch Marks Serum is formulated to help minimize the appearance of recently formed stretch marks. So you would just apply it to where the stretch marks are starting to appear. The Stretch Marks Cream is formulated to help prevent stretch marks and can be applied like a lotion. Hope this helps!

This product caused very itchy red rashes on my belly exactly at the areas where I applied this product. I don't have sensitive skin and this was my first time getting rash from any creme. I had to visit doctor as the rash wasn't clearing for over a week even after stopping using this product.

I have been a loyal Mustela maternity user for 8 years. The original has gotten me through three pregnancies with zero stretch marks and skin that was never itchy or irritated. Unfortunately they seem to have changed the formula when removing the scent. Its no longer moisturizing at all. The lotion absorbs well and is truly unscented but I’d take the horrid scent again for the moisture benefits the old formula provided.

Really love this product for keeping my skin soft and smooth during pregnancy. I have very sensitive skin which becomes more sensitive and itchy during pregnancy. It's my second time that I order this cream and I think I'll keep using after delivery too. In my opinion, this one Compare to the other brands is the best specifically when you are expecting. Because it's non greasy and very lightweight, absorb quickly and easily. I used it several times during a day, I put it in the restroom and even in the middle of the night when I get up for going to restroom, I apply some of this cream on my hip and stomach. That sounds funny but I'm doing it because it's very light and absorb right away. So far I didn't have any strech mark in late third trimester. In the ingredients mentioned that it's plant based and no chemicals. It was very important for me not to put chemical products during pregnancy.

It goes on smooth and absorbs into your skin quickly without feeling greasy. It has little to no smell and makes my skin feel so soft! This is my second pregnancy and so far has helped fade some old stretch marks and has kept new ones from starting! Very pleased with this product and would recommend!

I really liked the Mustela Cream for Stretch Marks. It goes on very smooth and makes my skin feel refreshed while helping me get rid of my stretch marks. It has a nice smell that was not strong. It really did help to rid me of having very noticeable stretch marks. Some of the deeper strech marks are more noticeable than the others after using the cream but I do think if I continue to use it I will see more favorable results.

I have many stretch marks on my belly and I was very interested in a cream that would help them fade. This cream has been wonderful and I see noticeable improvements! It was easy and smooth to apply and I followed the instructions fully. After about a month, I do feel they are a bit lighter! I’ll definitely still use this cream.

So I’ve been using this lotion for 4 weeks now. I love the feel of it. Rubs in easily and doesn’t have a weird smell to it. However, I haven’t noticed much change in my stretch marks so that’s disappointing. I’ll continue using it to see if I get any results and just because I do enjoy the feel of the lotion.

I have been using this product for around 3 weeks now, and so far, so good! I have very deep stretch marks on my stomach and thighs from having three children and multiple weight fluctuations throughout the years. I also have several light, small stretch marks in other places. I have not noticed a huge difference in my marks yet, but I still have hope that continued use will help at some point. I really like that this lotion is fragrance free! I can apply the lotion after my shower and not get a headache several hours later from the smell. The lotion has great texture and absorbs quickly. It doesn't leave you feeling oily or sticky like some lotions can. Overall, this is a great lotion, I will be continuing use to see if it can help all of my stretch marks!

I have stretch marks from my pregnancy three years ago. I was lucky enough that they weren't large or extremely dark. However they're right in the front center of my lower stomach which makes me a little self conscious. I decided to finally try the Mustela Stretch Marks Cream. I've heard of it before and know it's been reccomended frequently. The first thing I noticed was that it says its fragrance free. This is the first lotion I've come across that is ACTUALLY fragrance free. It has no scent to it at all. It's easy to rub into the skin, and dries fairly well with little or no greasy feeling left over. I am so blown away just from using it four days in a row. It's already lightened some areas and is working on lightening more. I've attached some photos of using it after 4 days. Before my marks were more red and the one was longer (meaning part of it is gone!) I cannot wait to continue to use this lotion and continue to use it for future pregnancies as well!

I have been using the cream for some time and honestly cannot tell the difference but I suppose that it will take time. The consistency is looser than other creams and it has no smell which I prefer because I am very sensitive to smells. I would love to be more specific and give a more in depth review but I cannot say for a fact that I am seeing results in such a short time. I can say I prefer this cream over the other brand that is popular just because of the lack of fragrance and it does not feel sticky after applying. I give it a 4 star because I cannot confirm yet that it works.
