I had trouble sleeping at night because my mind replays the day or jumps to thoughts constantly. I started to take this supplement daily an hour before I sleep at the same time everyday. I finally feel rested and relaxed.

I never write reviews. BUT this product was a random product I bought.I’ve been super depressed and going through a difficult time currently. Crying and be sad all day. I kid you not I was crying 8 hrs straight and went to the store stumbled upon this and I felt a mood change and wanting to get up and be productive instead of in bed sad. 5/5 ill definitely be restocking this! Any one struggling with being down in the dumps and don’t want to go on anti-depressants I would recommend trying this.

I took one for the first time and an hour or two after taking it my body felt tingling and my face started throbbing cause to feel really anxious so I had to take some calming tea. I couldn’t sleep because I have felt anxious the whole night. I think it might be to strong for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 50 mg Natrol 5-HTP, Natrol has them available 100 mg and 200 mg doses in their line as well so you can easily choose the dose that works best for you. The 50 mg capsule is smaller than most average size capsules and the capsule length is roughly the size of a dime making them easy to swallow. The clear capsules are filled with a white powder and to me smell a bit like vinegar when I open the bottle but they have absolutely no taste or aftertaste.

I am sure this affects everyone differently and would probably be better suited for those with light stress. I do deal with pretty bad anxiety, so this wasn't something that I noticed made much of a difference. This is probably better for those that just need a slight mood booster.

These are tiny pills with no taste and I just take them with the rest of mine in the AM. Sometimes one in afternoon on stressful days.

I usually take it after a big weekend of partying and it definitely helps with the hangover-induced anxiety and depression. It quickly gets be back on track mentally and emotionally. Knowing that this product is 100% drug free and non habit forming, and that it really works well, helps ease my mind. I haven’t had any side effects or issues while taking this product. I also feel it helps me fall asleep faster and I feel more rested. Highly recommend this product and I’m pleased with the results thus far.

I feel as though my mood increased a bit after taking but then I start to wonder is this a placebo effect. After a handful of times though I can confidently say that this does improve your mood. Not a long term solution but a definite pick me up for those blue days.
