Description

Turn your deck or patio into a no-fly zone with these imitation wasp nests. Research has demonstrated that wasps are territorial and avoid other nests. As this is made from paper, you need to hang it in a protected area under roof eaves or on a porch. Works for camping and picnicking too. Just hang and enjoy a wasp-free meal! Note: If a large nest has already been built, you will need to eliminate that nest first. Hang up this fake nest to prevent a new nest from being created. Works best if put in place in early spring.

    Wonderful Wasp Deterrent!!

I buy these once per year or two to keep wasps at bay. I had forgotten about putting some up last year when I received a nasty sting in my back yard! I was so glad a neighbor hadn't gotten stung! These give me confidence to go about my business in the yard and relax on our deck or porch without worry! I have recommended to neighbors, sisters and friends!

I am trying to keep wasps off my raspberry patch so the kids are more willing to pick berries. I have not hung it up yet but am afraid wind and rain will destroy this very quickly. I am trying to decide if I should use some latex paint to try and strengthen the paper nest and protect from rain. Otherwise I will have to babysit the thing and remove when there is a chance of wind or rain.

    Early and Often

They DO have to be put out in very early spring. They work best if you put it out before the first scouts come around looking for a site to build a nest. But, on years when I placed them out early enough, they are very effective in keeping paper wasps away from our wood-clad house - and the back door. I HIGHLY recommend this product!

I definitely didn't think it would work. But it does, very well! We usually have 2-3 wasp nests around our house and garages in the summer. I put out just one of these faux wasp nests and for two years running we have no real wasp nests on our buildings! Love love love this. So incredibly simple to set up, you can put it in a discrete area on your property, and it works!

According to internet, wasps are a natural predator for Carpenter bees. So we tried these faux wasp nests to keep them from snacking on our new timbers. So far I think it might have helped.

I would get wasps in my covered porch every year. I hung this up in early spring this year and never saw one. It worked like a charm and I'll never not have them.

    Swallow Deterrent

Swallow nests high up in our front entry attract egg-seeking snakes, but the swallows go elsewhere when these are hung up in a corner or two. My neighbors have tried other solutions that are more elaborate and more expensive, but less effective. These don't, however, deter the mud dauber wasps in my experience. Miss the beautiful swallows, but not the snakes. Glad to identify a new seller for this product.

I did not think these would work, but the reviews convinced me to try it. Worked so well up north at our cabin the past two seasons, I purchased more for our Texas place and they work here also. Highly recommend.

I hung these up under my carport area where we usually get wasps looking to build a nest. No wasps' nests so far, and I haven't seen as many flying around. So far so good - have had them about a month.

We had a huge hornet problem here that was eliminated as soon as these were hung up. They also keep the other wasps from building nests close as well. Great product that really works.
