Q: how do i know which side is the baby and toddler side they feel the same firmness?

A: If you have the 2-stage option there will be a tag on the mattress that shows infant vs toddler. It looks like you have the single stage, which would be the same on both sides, either side is fine for an infant or toddler.

A: Hi as I understand it the filling is organic cotton but it is wrapped in food grade polyethylene which makes it waterproof. I did a lot of research before buying this mattress and I consider it nontoxic. I really like that it’s waterproof and I didn’t have to buy a separate cover. Baby is 20 months now and sleeps great on this mattress. My only complaint would be she tends to get sweaty in warm weather.

Mattress is too firm. My child will literally sleep on any other mattress besides this crib mattress. Bought this very expensive mattress thinking this would be best for my child but have had many sleepless nights. Will be buying another mattress at a fraction of the cost.

I am confused... I just got this in the mail and the thing is as hard as a rock? I know crib mattresses are supposed to be firm but my baby would be better off sleeping on the carpet. I think I have to return.

It is an organic mattress, which was the reason I bought it in the first place. I’m getting it for my toddler, it is just way too hard for him. It is like a brick. I don’t know who would find it comfortable. Maybe it is better for babies.

This mattress feels like a brick of plastic. I cannot imagine having my baby sleep on this thing. I am shocked by all the positive reviews. Also- it is unclear which side is for infants and which side is for toddlers- they both feel like sleeping on a bag of cement. Would not recommend this mattress.

I ordered this mattress based on a blog review. It indicated that this was the best organic mattress as there is very little that will off gas - not all organic mattresses are equal. Upon receipt I was pleasantly surprised that this seems to be a really great mattress. Our newborn is sleeping beautifully and after many years of hand me down mattresses for my other children I am sorry I did not make this purchase sooner.

I ordered this mattress because it is all natural and lightweight. My baby is still sleeping in the basinet at night so I have only used it for naptime so far during the day. But she, thank god, seems to sleep great on it. It fits my crib perfectly, easy for me to change the sheets, and I am happy that my newborn is sleeping on an all natural surface, not chemicals. So far so good!
