I am personally really enjoying this moisturizer by Neutrogena. It’s made my skin feel so soft and I use it whenever I wash my face. I love that it has spf to protect you from the sun while staying moisturized. I have dry skin so it definitely helps me a lot with that. It’s a light cream that feels almost like water as you apply it and has no greasy feel at all. Overall I love this moisturizer and would definitely by it again.

I received a container of Neutrogena Hydro Boost City Shield Water Gel Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 25 at no cost as part of a Home Tester Club program. I am a big fan of Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost line. I have been previously using their Hydro Boost Gel Cream and was excited to try the Water Gel instead. The water gel has a cooling feeling when applying it to my face. It does not burn when applied to dry spots — something that I find happens with other brands. It also works wonders on dry spots and hydrated my skin even in the winter time. I also love that this product has SPF. The Gel Cream I use does not, so I only apply it at night. Because of the SPF in this Water Cream, I am able to use it in the morning for sun protection. I want to mention also that my skin is a bit sensitive. This Water Gel does not irritate my skin or cause breakouts.

The Neutrogena Hydro Boost City Shield Gel Cream contains SPF. Perfect for hydration and intense moisture. Dissolves very well into your skin without leaving a heavy film like other creams do. It's super lightweight. Not only does it have all these benefits, but it also makes a great primer! My makeup stays put all day with this gel cream. It doesn't make me break out either.

I’ve had a hard time implementing sunscreen into my routine, and although I’m rarely outside I know the importance of wearing it. Compared to the Hydro Gel Water Cream (my usual preference) I do notice that with this my face has a bit more of an oily feel when worn under makeup, but pretty mild and only a few areas. Just a light layer across the face and neck and you’re good for the day!

The texture is super nice and light and my face feels and looks moisturized after using it. The only thing I could see people not loving about this product is the smell. It definitely has a lot of fragrance in it which I don’t mind, but someone with sensitive skin or a sensitive nose might dislike. It’s a very fresh scent. I do think this has made my skin look nicer as I’ve been using it and will continue to use.

There is a slight scent but it isn’t overwhelming. I think I’m the summer this would be a great moisturizer. Unfortunately it is December/ January in northern Idaho where I live and it is very cold and dry. My skin is extra dry from the cold weather and this moisturizer wasn’t quite as hydrating as I needed. I think it will work great for about 8 months out of the year. I can’t wait to use this in the spring and summer it will be perfect.
