Purchased in May 24 & Worked great for 6 months but noisy as h3ll. November came and it began making some extra weird squealing noises then began leaking all over the countertop and kitchen floor.

I haven't even had this machine a year, and it is leaking water all over my counter from underneath. In addition, pieces of the machine are in the ice. Complete waste of money.

Purchased not even a year ago and it just stopped working, now this is also our 2nd one from this brand that happened, they are not good ice makers, very cheaply made

I purchased this ice maker as a Christmas gift in December 2023. The first unit worked for about five months before it stopped making ice. A replacement unit was shipped out at my expense (almost $30 for shipping) and It seemed to work well out of the box. A couple of weeks ago (late October 2024) it started making some strange loud noises and caused me some concern. It was still making ice until a few days ago and it stopped making ice. I can see ice in the hopper up top, but it is frozen solid and will not come out into the bucket. This ice machine has been a huge disappointment for me and my family. I would not recommend this product to anyone. It has been nothing but problems. These two units have lasted less than 10 months total. Not worth the money.

I have had this nugget maker for about 9 months. In this time like others, I have had chunks of plastic in my ice. But more sickening than that is MOLD! I clean out my machine once a week. So I cleaned it yesterday and today THERE WAS MOLD! And now it's not even making ice anymore....not that I would have used the ice....expensive crappy machine!

Only Been Sence July. Now the thing all the sudden starts clicking everytime we turn it on. Never did that before. I fear it is going to get worse. I can not find a diagram or parts for the unit anywhere to see about repairing the unit once it fully breaks. All manufacture devices should have a parts list so we can purchase and repair units. I am not thinking mine will work that much longer but we shale see.

I ordered one of these ice makers June 2023 and approx 5-6 months later it got incredibly loud and kept freezing up too much. I used the warranty and received a replacement after I had to pay for the shipping again. 2nd one out of the box was INCREDIBLY loud! I dealt with the noise to continue with my ice. Came home and my counter top was covered in water. The whole unit froze over and leaked everywhere. The machine also had white plastic chunks in the ice basket. Not worth the hassle.

I purchased this ice maker 2 years ago. The first one went out in 6 months. Newair sent me a new one that had a huge dent in the side and wouldn't replace it. It lasted 1 year and 3 months. Now it always says add water, and won't turn on. I emailed customer service and their response was yea it sounds like it needs to be replaced, here is a 40% off coupon for a new one…. Why would I purchase a new one if it's only going to last 1 year….

As an interior designer, I am always looking for products that blend functionality, innovation, and style. I searched for ages to find a countertop ice maker that fit my requirements, but never managed to find anything until I came across Newair. I got the 44lb Nugget Countertop Ice Maker a few days ago and have not only been loving the convince of it, but the design. The machine is sleek and blends right into my kitchen, taking up minimal space on the counter. I 100% recommend this product as a design centered, functional purchase.

I purchased this ice maker a year ago. Since then they have had to send me a replacement twice. Well today my ice makers has went out again! Something is cause internal plastic to shave and cause water to run into the cavity of the machine. I am without a machine unless I purchase another one. Few months ago I reached out to purchase additional warranty and was told the time has expired. I really was enjoying my ice maker. I recommend purchasing one from a better company

I bought this machine less than 18 months ago. It was not cheap and it has been replaced 3 times! Within the first 6 months this machine stopped working. It was replaced. That machine stopped working again 2 months later, and then 3 months after. Then it was fine, until a week ago when I heard a loud pop and the machine started leaking water. Upon further investigation, through the vents in the system, you can the entire inside of the mechanics were corroded. When I contacted the manufacturer, they could not replace it because it was past the warranty. This machine was replaced 3 times before warranty was over, which is only 1 year. I do not recommend anyone buy this machine. If you go on their website a lot of the reviews also say the machine gave out before 6 months.

Initially, I was excited about the New Air Stainless Steel ice maker for its perfect ice nuggets, but my enthusiasm quickly waned. The first unit ceased functioning after a mere six months of use, leaving us scrambling for a solution. Our experience with customer service only added to the frustration. Unable to replace the original model due to stock issues, the company substituted it with a lower-end model. Despite our reservations, we accepted the substitute, only to face another breakdown less than a year later. Adding insult to injury, the company refused to replace the second faulty unit, citing that I did not purchase an extended warranty for the replacement. It's worth noting that the replacement was covered under the original one-year warranty, which the company failed to honor beyond the first replacement. While the ice quality was excellent when the machines worked, their short lifespan and the company's lack of support have soured my experience. As a consumer, reliability and adequate customer service are non-negotiable, neither of which this company has delivered on. In conclusion, I regret investing in this product and would caution others against purchasing until the company can guarantee better reliability and customer care.
