I’ll start by saying the main reason I stuck to this shampoo was because a little goes a long way. I naturally have long wavy/straight and frizzy hair and with other shampoos I would use a ton each wash. Didn’t have to do that with this shampoo. I originally started using this shampoo while I was pregnant not realizing that it was this shampoo making my hair look shiny and healthy (I was thinking at the time it was the prenatals or pregnancy glow doing something to my hair to make it look healthy). Only reason I noticed it was really the shampoo was because I had stopped using this shampoo (because it can get pricey). So, I recently went back to using this shampoo and my hair is once again shiny and healthy looking. I have tried other high end brands but this shampoo specifically can’t be beat. Love it! Give it a try.

Still my favorite shampoo. I tried picking up something from Whole Foods to hold me over until I could get more of this shampoo, but nothing compares to the lather and how clean my scalp feels after using the Nexxus shampoo.

Avoid this shampoo if you have oily and/or thin hair. This stuff leaves so much residue and buildup that weighs down my hair and makes it feel limp and greasy and just gross. My hair doesn't feel clean at all with this shampoo

The texture of this shampoo feels thick and tacky - not slippy and easy to manipulate through the hair. I have long fine hair and find I have to mix it with a little water to get a nice even lather. I don’t have dry hair, but I do need to wash it just about every day, which is why I look for hydrating shampoos, but this one just isn’t it for me. It feels like it’s not rinsing and makes my hair feel heavier. I’ll finish the bottle I have as a once a week shampoo, but won’t repurchase. Also, the scent is absolutely horrid. I’m using the Humectress conditioner as well, and that, I really like. The scent of the conditioner is different and much better.

This has sulfates. The first few times I used it, I loved it. Then sure enough months later, my hair starts drying out and breaking. I have Afro hair. Sulfates are a no no for my already prone to dry hair. If your hair can handle sulfates then this is a good shampoo.

I fell in love with the shampoo n conditioner almost instantly. It made my hair so soft , broke any tangles or knots without even having to brush my hair. My hair looks so much healthier than it used to. I no longer have try dry, itchy hair either so glad I found the one after many many shampoos and conditioners

I have tested so many shampoos and when I tested Nexxus I FELL IN LOVE! Everytime I tested a new shampoo I would get dandruff, an itchy scalp, and sometimes oily hair. This shampoo caused ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BAD to my hair. Ever since i tried it out I never switched shampoos again.
