Q: What year did this scooter come out?

A: Pretty sure 2022. This model has been replaced by the KQi300 series, which is why you will find it at reduced prices now.

Q: I would like to know, whether it is water proofed or not? I can ride it in the rain or not?

A: It is water resistant, not waterproof (IP54 water resistance standard). It is not recommended for use in the rain, nor riding through puddles of standing water. Although it would probably be just fine in a light drizzle.
