Q: How much of the rrr alpha tocopherol is in this as I'm already taking maximum amount in my current prenatal and don't want to take any more of that?

A: Hi Lolita! A very small amount of the RRR-alpha-tocopherol is used as a natural preservative in the formula, the exact amount is proprietary. Q: Can you take these in addition to a prenatal multi??? I am taking 'my kind organic' but realized there is no DHA in it so I would like to supplement with this if possible?

Q: What is the vitamin content of these vitamins? I don't see any on the label and am worried about vitamin A levels and the other vitamin percents.

Ladies, “prenatal” simply means “before birth; during or relating to pregnancy.” Just because something is labeled “prenatal” does not mean it’s “prenatal vitamins.” Do not rate a product low ratings because you didn’t read the label. With that said, this is a great, clean product and does not taste fishy or give fishy burps. I take it along side daily with my prenatal vitamins.

It’s worth noting that this is NOT a prenatal multivitamin. I think the branding of “prenatal dha” makes it seem like this is a traditional prenatal multivitamin + dha. It’s NOT. You need to buy a multivitamin in addition to this. With that being said, this is a great DHA source and not fishy at all. Taking postpartum

These capsules go down easy and are tasteless. I do not get fish burps from them. The instructions state to take will a meal. DO NOT IGNORE THIS, or you will be in pregnancy misery. The reason I took off a star is because these make my poop smell like fish. It’s nauseating. I have been taking other vitamins with DHA, and I haven’t had problems. I do eat before taking these supplements, so I don’t know what the issue is… if it’s just too much fish oil for my body or what.

I have used this same brand in previous pregnancies. Unfortunately, the bottle I just got and opened smelled so bad that I cannot even open the lid in the same room (and I am not averse to smells this pregnancy!). I am going to look for a different variety.

I wanted to love these but they are terrible. The first bottle I purchased I thought I had a bad batch. Fishy burns that made my stomach turn every time. I purchased a second bottle thinking it was a one-time thing but I was wrong. The fishy burps are horrendous and I’ve never had an issue with other fish oils from this brand.

These were great until they weren’t. Last bottle I purchased smelled and tasted like fish and I did everything to try to keep them down. Called it quits a weekish before due date bc they were terrible. Had to throw out the remaining capsules.

Message to the manufacturers: please put some kind of desiccant in the bottle! My capsules were all stuck together and smelled strongly of fish. I suspect the product is damaged now. And I definitely do not feel safe ingesting this while pregnant and warn others as well!
