Interesting that it says can handle heat to 400° but on the back if the box it says heat to 475° Also it doesn't wash easy and even with flour it sticks to the dish. I wouldn't recommend this one and would suggest to keep looking.

Followed all the instructions around cleaning and preheating. After 3-4 tries I haven’t been able to get a crispy crust from a frozen pizza (tried different brands). And yes there is a bad smell when using this stone, even on fourth attempt. Will be trying a steel or iron pan next. Save your money and don’t buy this stone.

ZERO stars would be way too high for this product!!! It filled my entire home with a noxious chemical smell the first time I used it & that nastiness ruined the pizza. After that, I scrubbed it thoroughly with a dish cloth & very hot water & let it dry for a couple of days. The second time it gave off the same noxious fumes but also filled my house with thick, black smoke. Without the box, it’s probably not returnable but I really hope this spares someone else the same misery!

I thought this worked really well. For the people complaining it sticks I don’t think they prepared correctly. First stick the stone in the cold oven and warm it up with the oven. When you are ready to put your dough on the stone sprinkle the stone with Seminole flour or corn flour.
