I use to LOVE this shampoo and conditioner. I have been buying it since 2020. I was obsessed with the smell and how it made my hair feel. Since the formula change, it doesn't smell as good and leaves my hair feeling dull, flat, and lifeless. I won't be buying again. 💔

The kriginal formula was better for curly girls that had fine hair and oily scalps. It used to be a clear, gel-like consistency that lathered well and gave a deep cleanse, hense the former description of being detoxifying. Now it is a milky consistency and is more moisturizing than it is cleansing. Plus the pumps no longer lock and the smell is less fruity. Please go back to the original formula and packaging please! :(

I used to love this formula when it was in the dark green bottle but since they’ve changed it, I can’t stand it. Now after I shampoo, my hair feels like straw until I can slather on more conditioner than I used to need. After the shower, my hair feels like there’s a residue on it and I get both dry, frizzy flyaways and greasy clumps. I haven’t had hair days this bad in years. Just really sad that they changed it.

I wanted to love it but just can’t. It made my hair fall out sooo much. I switched shampoos for a week to see maybe it wasn’t the shampoo and didn’t lose so much hair. I switched back to this shampoo and my hair fall was concerning each time. It also left my hair feeling a bit dry and I noticed hair breakage. I couldn’t continue using it. The conditioner and mask are decent but I am going to get rid of the shampoo since I can’t return it. I hate wasting money like this when I’m on a budget.

I bought this one because it smelled good and was advertised as natural. I made sure to shampoo twice, washing well in between to get the best results. I also paired with matching conditoner. It was fine the first time, but then my hair became very dry and frizzy. I wanted to like this, but felt bad for my hair and had to switch.

I’ve used this brand of shampoo and conditioner for a few years now. Sometimes I venture out to try the other scents this brand has and they leave a residue in my hair. Probably because the formulations are for different types of hair. I have thin straight hair and this is the only scent that works for my hair. Easy to lather and leaves my hair smelling and feeling nice. Please don’t discontinue!

I don’t feel like it cleaned my hair and I had to use more than my old shampoo. It also left my hair smelling like a salon but more like chemicals than nice. I really wanted to like this because I’ve like other products by Not Your Mothers.

Purchased after I saw some good reviews. I have thick hair and right after the shower this shampoo makes my hair feel so greasy . Almost as if I can’t wash it off completely no matter how many times I rinse. The smell is great but not worth having my hair feel so disgusting and greasy. The conditioner seems to dry out my hair even more after my hair dries.

Bought the shampoo based on the good reviews but was very disappointed. The shampoo left my hair feeling greasy, almost to the point that it looked wet. No matter how much I washed it out it just didn't work.

Updated the bottle and the shampoo as well. Some bean counter ruined a good thing. I use to love this shampoo. It worked well and smelled great. This last time I purchased, it was different. It now has a different smell and the consistency has changed. They may have saved a few pennies but they will lose sales over this. Back on the search for a new favorite shampoo and conditioner.
