Q: Does this model utilize a rubber gasket? I have experienced the gasket constantly falling off in past personal blenders. I have even blended 2 up in my shake.

And my favorite feature is the easability of unlocking the canister and taking my smoothies on the road! No more mess and fuss of moving the contents over to a portable cup. I thought I would never vear from my Vitamix but it’s just sitting under my cabinet collecting dust!!

I wanted to love this Nutribullet upgrade for me, but after using twice, I'm returning this and going back to the 900Watt model. I love the on/off choices, good power, but the tall, (and 24 oz has inside bumps) are awful to get all my thick smoothies out (need extra long spoon/straw) and the rims on both the extractor blade and the cups are very hard to get clean (deep ruts).

I had a nutribullet pro 900 that gave a couple years of faithful daily service before dying so I thought I'd "upgrade" to this model. It is unfortunately worse in every way. Despite the claim that it is quieter, it seems louder. Although it claims to be more powerful, it has struggled to blend frozen fruit that my 900 churned right through. The seal between the base and the cup leaks, allowing smoothie sludge to drip into the unit. Finally, the making of a smoothie seems to create a vacuum that causes the base to stick to the cup. Not recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the nutribullet Ultra in exchange for an honest review. The packaging it comes in is so nice and protected with thick cardboard inside. I love that this little gadget is double the power of Nutribullet and does not have the rubber ring on the blade part. The Ultra comes with a base/motor, blade, 2 bullet cups, 1 handle cup, and 2 lids. I have the Blendtec and love it, but I also love the Nutribullet Ultra for being able to make single serving smoothies, small portions of sauce, and the convenience of just rinsing it and tossing it in my dishwasher. Due to its small size, I thought the motor would not be as noisy. However, since there aren't any holes for the air to escape during mixing that it's just as loud as a powerful blender such as Blendtec and Vitamix. Overall, I recommend this little gadet!

Very nice job Nutribullet. This Ultra is hands down the best personal smoothie blender I've used, and I've used them all, including the one that starts with a V. The personal cup was discontinued on my previous brand, so I went with this instead. It has the looks, design, value, ease of use, and most importantly, quality materials and performance. I prefer to put it on 2 cycles (30 sec. each for a total of 1-minute), which gives great results and is similar time for other machines. In my opinion this new 1200w unit is a game changer for Nutribullet. I only wish the warranty was longer on the motor, but it feels weighty and solid. I hope this unit stands the test of time because I love it! (the blade has a 5-year warranty though which is great)

I have small kids so I also like the feature where the start buttons don’t appear until the cup is fully locked into place. I’ve owned two older models and this one looks and feels super modern and updated.

It comes with a booklet that has recipes for smoothies, dressings, and many more tasty treats to try. I like using this to make pineapple smoothies because it blends everything so well. Yes, it is a little noisy but only for a short time and it’s not as loud as my blender. The clean up is minimal compared to a blender as well, just the cup and blade. The NutriBullet has a durable and sleek design, which is good because this is my new go to item. I use it multiple times a week. I might even get rid of my blender since using this is so quick and easy! Highly recommend!

The color matched the color of my appliances. There is a vacuum on the legs which keeps the blender from moving around. The extra cups are very helpful. Easy to clean. I tried the hummus recipe from the included recipe book, and it calls for 1 ice cube, which seemed to gunk up the blades. After the two blend cycles, there were still whole chic peas. I had to open the blender cup and rearrange. I think maybe the ice cube should have been put in first, but the recipe doesn't specify, so that could have been user error to be fair Functionally, I feel that the program buttons are oddly placed, as when the cycle was done and I went to take the cup off, my fingers hit the blend button and it startled me that it started again as I was trying to remove the cup. Maybe an actual off button would be ideal. Overall, these things aren't a deal breaker, and the hummus and smoothie were delicious. I am so excited to try other recipes, and I am certain this will be a great addition to our kitchen!

I use them almost daily for my protein shakes in the morning and for salsas and sauces for dinner. My blenders are very dated and you can tell the motor isn't working as well as it once used to. The new nutribullet ultra is so sleek looking and comes with 3 cups, a couple lids and the blade attachment. I love that it has these little suction cups on the bottom so it's sure to stay in place when blending. Did I mention how much bigger the cups are? Nearly double in size, I can fit so much more per batch. My only negative with nutribullet blenders are the super short cords, I wish they were just a bit longer! Other than that I would highly recommend this blender to just about anyone and everyone!

I use my nutribullet daily. This is my 3rd or 4th unit over the past 20 years. I wanted to make sure I got something new and a little different rather than just rebuying the same thing (my last one started to smoke after several years of daily use). I chose this because it said stronger and quieter. It is neither. It works fine, but nothing special. I probably could have gotten a lower level and less expensive one. This one is actually LOUDER than any one I have ever had. They should not describe it as quiet if it isn't. They could have left that off the description completely. It also runs fine, but I still need to go through several cycles to get things smooth. It does the trick but don't expect to see a drastic difference.

It was able to chop through lots of frozen fruit pretty easily without additional manual effort to shake and loosen up the ingredients like I’ve had to do with other nutribullets I’ve used. It was incredibly easy to clean as well — while the blade piece takes a bit of finesse and care, the container piece is like cleaning any other glass (and my hand fits in there easily. I also liked the suction cup feet. They suction easily without force and help the machine to not move around when in use. The machine itself looks nice as well, so I don’t mind having it out on my counter which doesn’t hurt!
