Q: How easy is this blender to clean? Is it like a traditional blender of two rubber rings to remove? I am looking for something simple to clean, i.e. take top off base, unscrew lid and put in dishwasher

I bought this about 3 months ago. I use it everyday for smoothie and the last two weeks it has been impossible to use when alone. The big container is impossible to put the blender attachment on. It is worn out and now I wish I bought a blender instead.

Such a great appliance. My husband and I love making fresh smoothies several times a week. Using fresh fruits and juices, we find them filling and helping us to get away from carbs. So glad we bought it! It is a little bit on the loud side, but it is very efficient and fun to use. Smoothies in slightly over a minute. Love the 24 ounce cups and the covers to go. So convenient to make a breakfast smoothie to bring to work.Highly recommend.

I purchased this Ninja blender a year ago, but I hardly used it until a month ago. One day, while making a smoothie, the blender started emitting an unpleasant burning odor, smoke came out from the inside, and my smoothie turned dark, tasted awful, and was undrinkable. Considering I have several other Ninja products in my kitchen, I was deeply disappointed with the quality of this blender.

Makes great smoothies. I’ve been using this everyday since purchasing to drink my nutrients. Can crush ice and frozen fruits very easily. Smoothies are done in one minute. The only downside is it’s very loud.

This is my third Auto-iQ, the second one for me and one for my sister who lives in Mexico, where they use fresh fruits and vegetables. Besides doing a great job blending everything, they are very durable. I use mine every morning and my first one, which I purchased in 2017, just stopped working.

Purchased October 2022, died January 2025. Used almost daily with a three month period exception. Went pretty easy on this thing - Bananas, oats, and fresh vegetables. Didn't often use frozen items. Pretty disappointed that it didn't last longer before the motor smoked up my kitchen. Don't think I'll be buying this brand again.

I bought this blender last month to make smoothies and so glad I did! I actually use the recipes it comes with and it is very easy and quick to make a good smoothie. It's also very easy to clean. It is nice having two cups.

I've had two of these blenders within the last 3 years....before this model the old version lasted me 8 years....they are building these so poorly now so you constantly need to replace them. I am so disappointed. I used to be such a prideful Ninja owner...and now I want nothing to do with the company...It's sad.

The blender works fine but I didn’t know until we went to break down the box that it lists the p65 cancer and reproductive harm warning. I saw on another site they responded to a customer who posted about the warning and they said it’s impossible for them to know if or how many chemicals are in the product so they just put the warning on to cover the basis for all chemicals. It’s a shame because I like the blender. Wish they knew what it contained.

Bought one a few years ago. It wasn't used often but randomly just died, emitting smoke everywhere. It was mostly fine, but the gasket design is frustrating as cleaning the blender cup and assembly properly is not easily possible and not recommended by Ninja. It is also extremely loud.

When hand washing, wash the containers, lids, and blade assembly in warm, soapy water. Use a dishwashing utensil with handle to avoid direct contact with the blades. Exercise care when handling the blade assembly as the blades are sharp. Thoroughly rinse and air-dry all parts. The containers, lids, and blade assembly are also dishwasher safe.
