NYX Professional Makeup HD Studio Finishing Loose Powder - Translucent - 0.21oz

I had high hopes for the NYX HD Finishing Powder, but it was a major letdown. The biggest issue is the horrible flashback — not just in photos, but even in regular indoor lighting. It leaves a white, chalky cast on my face that looks unnatural and emphasizes any texture or dry patches. The powder just sits on top of the skin instead of blending in smoothly. Even worse, the flashback effect happens even when I'm just walking around indoors under standard lighting. It makes my face look pale and uneven, completely ruining my makeup look. I’ve tried applying it with a light hand, using different brushes and sponges, but nothing seems to help. Definitely not worth the hype. If you plan on being under any sort of lighting other than perfect natural daylight, this powder is a nightmare. Save your money and find something else

Packaging- 6/10 comes all out but easy to clean up, making this product worth it Finish-8/10 makes my face feel so so smooth and makes my makeup last longer

Love this finish! The packaging is great and it doesn’t not have a scent. The texture makes your face feel smooth with a light coverage. Highly recommend!

i got it to replace my old setting powder, i hoped it would work. i tried and it left marks everywhere. when i dipped my powder puff into it, dust went everywhere, it didn’t show up at all i had to keep reapplying. i definitely will not be rebuying this product.

Nejlepší pudr na trhu. Tohle se NYXu fakt povedlo.☺️ Fixuje, zabraňuje lesknutí, pěkně voní a hlavně vydrží. Cena je optimální a dá se najít v akci u spousty prodejců. Obal by mohl být praktičtější, často se mi povede pudr vysypat při šroubování zpět.

It makes you sneeze tbh the smell is strong it kind of smells weird. It leaves a little bit of a flashback with a flash on so don't put too much. don't use it like a setting powder tho its so lightweight.

I have an oily skin especially around my t zone and this product gives me a great blurry finish with a lightweight texture and great clear coverage.

It’s a very good fixative, it doesn’t leave you a Flashback effect and the powder is quite finite product, it doesn’t come that much, but for the price it’s a good option

Lovely packaging but would always give me a White cast in pictures. Smelled a little funny but texture was ok and so was coverage. Wouldn’t repurchase though.

The powder simply sits on my skin without blending in, leaving a noticeable, cakey finish. Its texture feels dry and chalky rather than soft or smooth. Unfortunately, I won’t be repurchasing this.

I'm very disappointed with the reviews for this product. I absolutely LOVE this setting powder. It control my oily skin all day. Even if i sweat on the face, make stays put all day. The secret to using this product is to put on after applying foundation, then apply setting powder sparingly, then apply blush, eye shadow ext. , then apply setting spray. Makeup will stay fresh looking all day and night.

Excellent loose powder, translucent and really lightweight. It doesn’t feel heavy on my face when I use it after applying my foundation! I love Elf products! Such a reasonable price and quality products!!

Great little compact, although does get into the lid and when you open it, it can be messy. Good coverage which add to the overall finished make up look. Scent free and blendable.

I love this powder and how fine/unnoticeable it is, but I HATE the new packaging. The last time I bought it, it had a dial you could close inside to keep more powder from coming out. Now it doesn’t have that so it’s a mess every time I open it from having it in my makeup bag. Why would they change the packaging??!

I don't wear face makeup a ton anymore but this is my go to on top of foundation when I do. Currently, I use it on top of my sunscreen. I'm super sensitive to sunscreen on my face around my eye area... this has been a game changer to stop my sunscreen from "melting" as much. It also helps to make my skin look and feel less oily when using skin products. A bit pricey but as I don't use it everyday, it feels worth it.

I literally never write reviews but I had to stop in the middle of my makeup to write this. This powder is horrendous. It is insanely chalky, smells weird, and makes your eyes look so incredibly crepey. It made my shape tape look oxidized. I will be returning Monday. Do NOT buy!!
