Use it to brighten and color-correct yellow tones on silver, pre-lightened or natural blonde hair with strengthening ingredients like keratin, purple fig and iris. After rinsing, follow it up with your favorite conditioner—maybe add a few drops of OGX Purple Toning Drops to enhance the effect. Banish unwanted, brassy tones.

this product is so watery so it doesn't get sudsy at all so you have to use a lot more then usual. i have only used it once and so far its done nothing but I wouldn't recommend because of how watery it is. also if u have seen the reviews about how it makes your hair fall out, I've done some research and the chemicals that were in it that caused that, are no longer In it so it wont cause hair loss anymore

I love the scent of some of the other shampoo in this brand, so when I bleached and needed a purple shampoo I decided to try this one. It was nose-wrinkling perfumy while applying, more than I liked, but somehow after it dried it became downright unpleasant to me. I'm super sensitive to a lot of perfumes, and this one is borderline unpalatable to my nose. It does a great job brightening the hair. But oh how I wished it didn't smell so musky perfumy. Can we get an unscented version? PS: I got this as a delivery so I was unable to give it any kind of a "pre sniff" test at the store. I guess that'll teach me.

It's very runny for shampoo. I went to use it for the first time. It poured out like purple water. Not a consistency I want for my shampoo. Will be returning.

I've tried other purple shampoos over the years and ok some may have worked better then others or not at all but all left my hair feeling so gross and having to extra condition afterwards. This stuff worked for me and makes my hair feel amazing!! It did not dry my hair out at all and I absolutely love that!

I recently bought this shampoo to tone my freshly lightened hair. Pros: very pigmented, nice list of ingredients (NB: it has proteins, which for me personally is positive), easy to apply, heavenly smell, affordable price. Cons: none I can think of; it may be a bit harder to find than other drugstore shampoos but if you live close to a Sally's you'll be fine. Also proteins may not be everyone's favourite as it really depends on the hair type, but usually treated/processed/damaged hair may benefit from a bit of protein.

Unfortunately this doesn't seem to deposit enough pigment to make my hair less yellow, but it does have a great fragrance and makes my hair shiny & clean without weighing it down. I stopped using OGX awhile ago due to an ingredient that was causing my scalp and neck to become extremely itchy and caused a lot of hair to fall out, but decided to give this shampoo a try since they changed the ingredients. I've been using it for a month now, and it's not causing any problems. Even though it doesn't help with toning my hair, I'll likely repurchase it. Only thing I didn't like is the extremely runny consistency.

I wanted to try a new blonde shampoo but I shouldn't have!!! I only used this shampoo probablt a total of 3 or 4 times before I realized it was causing my hair to fall out. clumps and clumps of hair. stopped using it about 2 months ago and my hair is still recovering and not the same. do not buy.

It works wonders but it dries out your hair so fast. I really wanted to love it but I just can’t do it. It took all the brassiness out, which is about the only good thing I can say about it tbh. It dried out my hair, so much shedding. It was an overall poor experience
