I’ve been taking the OLLY Iron chewables for a week now, and I can honestly say these are so much better than regular iron pills. Traditional iron supplements always leave a strong metallic aftertaste and cause severe constipation for me no matter how much fiber I take in. These chewables, though, have been a game changer. They don’t cause constipation, which is a huge relief, and they’re great at helping maintain my iron and ferritin levels. I did notice some side effects at first—mainly stomach ache and nausea within the first two hours after taking them. I’ve experimented with how I take them: alone, with a banana, and with half a peanut butter sandwich. The peanut butter sandwich worked best for reducing the nausea. I also pair the chewables with an orange to help with absorption. One small downside is that they can get a bit stuck in your teeth while chewing. But the taste is great—nothing like swallowing those harsh iron pills. I have sickle cell, and my ferritin levels tend to drop due to my menstrual cycle. Because of that, I usually have to get iron infusions every six months, which means sitting for 4 to 5 hours per treatment, once a week for four weeks. If these chewables can help maintain my levels longer between infusions, it would be a total game changer. I just wish they came in a bigger bottle!

The ingredients seem good for an iron supplement, they taste is bearable not amazing, probably not doable for a kid but def alright for an adult. The value seems in par with other Ollie products.

They taste amazing and are very small chewable tablets. They taste like fruit punch candy. The packing is also small which I appreciate because it makes storing it and traveling with it much easier. I highly recommend them!

I took them for a few weeks and had my iron checked and it was at a good level. I'm post menopausal and need to take iron. If not I become anemic. I will continue to use these.

First it tastes great, like a piece of fruit candy. Dosen't taste like iron and you get to actually chew it! I took 2 pills as directed and felt better after 30 minutes. Love that it has the same effect as regular iron and it dosent cause strong intestinal pain. You can take it without food! Wish I could have found this sooner!

I like red cherries but these are no where close to that. Rest ingredients wise it is manufactured in place having eggs, fish and so other which is again no for me

These are fruit punch flavored, and they do indeed taste like fruit punch. I initially thought these were gummies but they’re not. They’re just a chewable, with a slight chalkiness to them. Full disclosure, I’ve never been diagnosed with being iron deficient, so I do not know if these are helping. Also, I am taking only one per day, but recommended dosage is two per day. I have been taking them with food, but I haven’t experienced any negative side effects from them. I am giving this review based on my personal current health, and I am not a medical professional. If you are low in iron, I would suggest working with your physician to determine if these would be suitable for you.

I have hard time digesting iron supplements and I am anemic so finding a supplements that doesn't affect my tummy is rare. These so far are not giving me constipation, they are easier to take and taste good enough. I will update with how my body is absorbing iron while taking these.

I took this product consecutively for a month and am no longer anemic!! This product is worth every penny since it helped my iron levels go up! The packaging is simple and small, which is perfect for any purse or backpack. The tablets aren’t very sweet and taste good. I would definitely recommend this product to any PCOS,Endometriosis, or girly with heavy periods!

Chewable vitamins tend to be chalky and very sweet but that’s not the case with this. It has just the right sweetness as well as flavor which was a pleasant surprise. Since the Iron is from AB Fortis, I haven’t had any issues with digestion which I know can be the case with Iron supplements. I’ve been taking this for about 2 weeks now and I haven’t had any issues! If I need more iron in my diet, I would definitely purchase this over vitamins I would need to swallow.
