rarely ever works no matter how many times you unplug and replug, change the batteries doesnt matter it barely ever works.

I purchased this product from a reputable pharmacy a couple of months ago because my cardiologists told me my old Omron meter was reading quite high. I took it in to my first visit with him after I got it and to my surprise it also was reading about 20 points high on the SYS. I initially thought that it could be calibrated by a simple software update being an old software tech. However I soon found that that the calibration process consisted of throwing it in the trash and buying another one. Needless to say I won't be buying Omron as a replacement.

I'm happy with this blood pressure monitor. I can't imagine cheaping out on something so important, but I feel the price on this is not too high. I reaad reviews that mention the cuff has a hard formed part and is uncomfortable for some, but mine does not. It seems to have a lot of adjustibility. I have very thin arms and am getting accurage readings. I think larger people can use this easily. I am now looking for a compatible AC adapter to have when the batteries run out.

Readings for seniors on the Omron Blood Pressure Monitor are not up-to-date and accurate. The American Heart Association states that "normal" blood pressure for anyone 65 years and older is 130/80. Readings on the monitor that are over 120/80 comes up as "elevated." This is not true for seniors. The readings should be reflected by age group so that senior readings do not say "elevated" when they are above 120. Omron's monitors should be updated to give readings by age group in order to be accurate.

Not accurate per check against clinic’s cuff but easy enough to use. But worthless if it’s not accurate

Like that it sends numbers to my phone. Dislike that I have to remember to delete my husbands readings when they come to my phone. Wish it came with the power code.

Reads accurately, portable, has lasted me going on 2 years now. it doesn’t sync to the app every single time i use it so you have to sync it again for your data to update. it keeps around 60 past readings inside the machine which i find super convenient to show my cardiologist

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a 10 year old OMRON unit. I prefer the manually applied cuff - the auto cuff is quite uncomfortable. The Bluetooth combo to the phone app works better than the previous unit. HOWEVER, the app has not communicated with the iPhone iOS 17 operating system. My experience is OMRON is slow to update as iOS changes, then is buggy after an attempted update. It will not load data to the Apple Health app. Apple’s data graphing is superior to OMRON. You need to invest in software.

My husband needed this BP due to him having a heart attack. I like that the machine keep record on your previous number and also it has larger enough screen for people to see. The machine has a symbol that tells you that your BP has been high three times in a row.

If you want decent readings, this is for you. If you only want 2 readings witnout an error, this isnfor you. If you LOVE changing batteries, this is for you. If you want consistent usefulness, maybe not.

Terribly inaccurate. I read the directions and applied properly. 5 readings within 10 minutes were widely variable. Then I went to the doctor and had a manual check done and it was significantly off from the digital reading. I don’t trust this device for something so important and will be returning.

I bought this monitor several years ago and it worked great until I dropped it. I now have to replace it and can't find anything equal to this great monitor

Bought this for my husband to track his BP since his blood pressure was up and down. It is easy to use and very accurate.

This is my second monitor same model number. Every few readings I have to change my batteries or it won't work. I test the batteries and they are all good. I took one back and ordered another one. Both did the same thing. So disappointed with Omron. Always used their monitors. Now I have to find a different company. So sad...

Like smaller size. Dislike size of cuff. Like durability of cuff and Valcour App is good. Easy to use the machine. cons:Need to figure where to hold arm. At first seemed a little high but seemed to readjust or I just figured out how to put my cuff and arm in correct position. Could use a heart warning area like the wrist gage has. Need to look up the errors numbers. Anyhow seems to be better than few years ago. I already had the OMRON app for my wrist one and updated version. Liked that it Worked quickly with the iPhone 14 recording it. The wrist one was a problem first time set it up app. But adding this on went on perfectly. Make sure machine is off and go back to dashboard on phone app, then to history and wait few minutes after you open app. And my setting is “only use when using app.” The app might need to be updated. Usually wrist is higher but sometimes get it pretty close. Not at beginning. I think my BP is brain driven. Give it time. I was skeptical at beginning. Normally my BP is all over the place. It jumps in less than a minute. Always was. Even in drs office. So don’t go by other comments that complain. I returned same machine a year ago. Thinking it was so different than my old one. Compare it to drs office. Even that may be different. I don’t have steady BP. So don’t blame the machine like so many do. Cuff is soft cuff. Not the hard formed one. Too big for me. A con is the cuff seems to be getting wider. Not good for short arms. But it just fit.

Has an opening for DC adaptor - but did not come with one. You have to purchase that optional item separately.

Blood pressure is certified accurate yet was completely inaccurate. Luckily I was not put on blood pressure meds as my readings were not extremely high yet they were extremely varied. So much so that my cardiologist suggested I alter the timing of my readings. When my readings were still all over the place they suggested I use another monitor.bi borrowed my neighbor's and my readings are Consistently within normal range. This monitor is a waste of money and, since I have had it for over 90 days, Target refuses to return it. Manufacture warranty may possibly replace it for me but I don't want another inaccurate blood pressure monitor.

It is good quality but the cuff is wrong size for a large upper arm and gave me false high readings 140/98 130/98 When I use on forearm it is 118/78 108/80 I checked on husbands normal arm and upper and lower were same make sure forearm will give accurate readings. Maybe offer optional cuff sizes.
