Ortho GroundClear Year Long Vegetation Killer Concentrate 32 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great, kills every weed that it's sprayed on, it even killed the potato like roots on the green briars. Weeds have not come back in the areas i have treated with the Ground Clear. The cracks in the driveway have remained weed free.

I used a one part concentrate to five part water mixture and one type of grass and the weeds are yellowing but another type of grass remains green. Will a higher concentration be more effective on the green grass?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ground clear cleared everything! We have a lot of landscaping where it is stones. The weeds and grass constantly try to grow there. This makes it so easy yo spray and get rid of them. They also don’t come back.

I was surprised to find no instructions on the label on how to dilute it and then surprised when I read on their website how much was needed for a gallon of weed killing mixture. Days later I expected results of dead weeds but dousing then like I did apparently want enough to do the job. See for yourself with the photos. My advice: buy something else or be prepared to use a lot of product to do the job and be prepared to do it twice. …or just buy a different product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Applied the ground clear, and it did begin to kill grass and weeds in the cracks of my driveway and sidewalk. However, it took much longer to be effective compared to when I use Roundup. Also, it takes much more of the product (chemical/water mixture) than Roundup when applying. The results were not as I expected, disappointing product. It seems that it needs to be made stonger to be more effective.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This does a good job at killing weeds and grass in the cracks of your driveways/sidewalks, landscaped area, and other areas you don't want weeds without containing glyphosate (the main ingredient of the most well known weed killer). As far as it's ability to keep weeds away I am unsure because I have only spot sprayed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great for using on all my sidewalks, driveways, concrete patio, gravel approach to shed, and around my firewood rack. Basically, only use this stuff where you dont want anything coming back for a long while. You can't use this to kill vegetation before planting something else as it will kill the new stuff too. I love this stuff, but it is limited to where you should use it. Lucky for me I have a ton of sidewalk and other areas where I need this to make my life easier. Kills things pretty well on first spray, follow instructions on bottle and you should have no problem. Remember to always wear protective items when using a product such as this.

I had to apply it twice to get rid of some stubborn weeds growing through a crack in the cement but it did it's job on the second application. Would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As with most weed vegetation killers, it will work well with most weeds/hardier plants but will require more than one application for some. Consider a higher rate for the first application for those hard to kill vining plants and weeds.

Very easy to use just follow directions to mix with water in a sprayer. Used it on my pavers in the driveway and walkway. Applied in the morning and by the afternoon the weeds were shriveled and eventually fell apart days later. Weeds or grass have yet to grow back. Great product!

The container is easy to handle and the instructions are easy to follow. This will kill everything, so don't get it on anything you don't want to kill.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works good & had decent results on weeds growing on driveway cracks and in flower bed garden. Dead weeds within 24 hours. Used the concentrate product and mixed with water. Ortho came through with another great product.

If you want weeds, brush, grass, etc gone, don't mix with water. Use it full strength concentrate. It works the best that way and will last a full year between applications. I've been using this for over 5 yrs and have never had to apply a 2nd dose in the same year.

I used 2 bottles of this on my yard and it killed my grass and boosted the growing of the weeds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Outstanding product, as expected. We have a chronic problem with weeds in a landscaped bed. We’ve tried many weed killing products with little success. Groundclear seems to have worked it’s magic. Only time will tell if it will last all season.
