Sometimes your curls need an added boost in the moisture department-particularly if they still look dull or frizzy even after you've styled them. Our Moisture Lock™ Leave-In Conditioner helps create a balanced moisture foundation before you begin your style, so curls respond better to the styling products you layer on top. Our breathable formula works by sealing nourishment and hydration into each strand, without leaving a greasy residue behind. With moisturizing botanical extracts (Arnica, Prickly Pear) and antioxidants like Green Tea and Vitamin B5 to help protect the hair and promote hair health, you're left with manageable, hydrated, luxuriously silky curls.

Smells so gross

I cannot even begin to say how gross this smells, and the fragrance is extremely heavy and inescapable. It's like medicine/powder/old ladies. It does not dissipate with time.

I tried the trial size version of this several months ago and loved it. Once that was gone, I bought the bigger bottle. You immediately notice the smell is different. It smells like medicated shampoo, or a strong powder smell. I hate it, and I don't feel like the product works as well. Its very disappointing given the price. I won't be buying again.

Wow! I've been trying so many leave-in conditioners and I still get the bird's nest tangles in my hair. This amazing product is something else and I didnt have that issue. I was able to run my fingers easily through my hair. I have coarse extra long wavy hair that goes to my waist and only needed one pump for each side.
Different and horrible new formula

This used to be my holy grail product for years. I just rebought the 1 litre size and immediatly noticed a change. I still have the old bottle and noticed the new one looks different. The ingredients list on the new one is different and there is more Dimethicone now. The leave-in now feels thicker and has a baby powder esk nauseating smell. It also now feels heavy in the hair and leaves a white residue. This is really upsetting to see as Ouidad is expensive and not worth the splurge anymore.

I have wavy hair and this did zero detanglig and the smell is overwhelming. Why can't FDA or someone step in to test these products and remove them off the shelves?! ugh

I've used this on my curls for years in combination with the heat & humidity gel. As of my last bottle purchased in Dec the smell is horrifically perfume like and makes my eyes water and ears burn. What happened, was there a formula change? This is aweful.
Favorite leave in conditioner

This has been my go to leave in conditioner and goes well with any of the other styling products, and I love the original smell. I get migraines and can't usually use products with fragrance, but this had a lovely, spa-like smell that went with everything and faded once hair was dry. Went to buy a new bottle because I was running out, and they've changed the smell! It's now an overpowering scent, like too much argon oil or musk! Ruined a wonderful classic leave in, should have left it alone! I'm so upset!

Not very hydrating. Mind you I have thick, wavy/semi-curly, short (chin length), and relatively healthy hair (no bleach or chemical treatments for years). I would not recommend this product and will not be using this line of products in the future.

I honestly could not tell if this would have ended up working or not, I could not get past the horrible strong perfume scent, this did not smell good at all.

I only tried this product because it featured someone in the ad and on their website that looked like me. I have 3 different curl patterns through out my hair. 3b/3c/4a… this product coupled with the anti-humidity gel dried and tangled my hair. It was ineffective and added no moisture. Made my hair limp and the curls never surfaced. I had to wash it out my hair. Major let down. Did return
Would not recommend.

I'm having an affair with Ouidad products for curly hair! I had been using Climate Control Gel but switched it up during the winter for Featherlight Styling Cream. Both work well in conjunction with Moisture Lock Leave-In Conditioner. Since I started using Moisture Lock Leave-In Conditioner, my hair has been softer to the touch without adding any frizz. The product does not leave heavy deposits on my scalp, or have any other negative effects that I have noticed. I've been using this product for over a year and don't plan to change my leave-in anytime soon!
dry hair, weird residue

I bought this cause my curls need a little extra moisture, I get my hair highlighted. It gets great reviews but doesn't work for me. My hair is dryer when I use this and it's stiff from a weird residue. I don't get the shiny bouncy silky curls it claims.

I absolutely love this leave in. I used to use Real Control by Redkin many many years ago and they discontinued it. I went in search for a different leave in. I tried a lot of different ones and this one by far is the best one for me. Sometimes I can literally just us only the leave in and my hair looks good and feels good. Other times I add some styling products in as well. I hope that they never discontinue this product.

I love the Ouidad Moisture Lock Leave In Conditioner because it adds the needed moisture to curly hair and it comes in a cream.

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. It has a horrible, chemical/wet-dog smell. So bad that multiple other people commented on it-- and not in a good way. Made my hair ridiculously frizzy. Will never buy Ouidad again.
Flash dried my hair

I have never used a leave-in conditioner on my hair before that caused it to flash dry but that's exactly what this one did to my hair. I style my wavy hair while it is soaking wet, once I applied this, I couldn't even scrunch the rest of my products in because it had sucked all the moisture out of my hair. Even rewetting my hair didn't work. I would not recommend this product at all.
