My son was so excited to get this, he loved it! But almost immediately, the chain fell off. And falls off over and over again every time he rides it. Would have returned it sooner, but when we bought it, he did not know how to ride a bike. We tried attaching training wheels (by the way, they are NOT compatible!) so we were spending this time trying to practice balance. By the time he got the hang of it, the 90 days were up and the chain was screwed. So upsetting. Complete waste of money and one very disappointed kid. Your first bike is supposed to be special.

This bike is sturdy and it’s a good quality bike. I previously purchase a bike from Wally World and had to take it back twice. Finally, I decided to just be smart and get it from Target. My son loves this bike and told me that I was the best mom in the world! 🥰

Really wasn’t sure how many stars to give out. It seems everyone had the same issue as I did with the first ride, the handle bars come loosened. Not sure if that’s the bike or store that assembled it. Also on the first ride, the break cable pretty much snapped off. Luckily it has back breaks, but purchased while camping and kiddo couldn’t ride it entire time because I didn’t have the simple tool to tighten it back up. Would have been nice to had it actually ride ready when buying and not just look like it’s ready to ride.

Amelia - 2 years ago
When my son attempted to ride the bike the handlebar started to twist toward the front. It is very loose. It also needs some type of Allen wrench type of tool which I don’t have (I have plenty of Allen wrenches but I guess not that particular size). Very disappointing.

Hi Amelia. So sorry about your experience with our product, and we appreciate your feedback! Sadly, we do not provide or manufacture tools. For tools, we recommend visiting a professional bike shop or nearby retailer. Best Regards.

Our 10 year old really loves this bike. It has both a hand brake and pedal brake which allows him to stop easily. He loves the design and color. We have only had it a few weeks, but so far it has been durable and easy for him to ride.

I am not sure if it’s the bike, the assembly by the store, or both, but while riding, my 9 year olds handlebars folded down and the front tire spun around. Very scary situation. This was an Easter gift. Will be returning. Would not recommend.
