Paper Mate Ink Joy 6pk Gel Pens 0.7mm Medium Tip Black: Retractable Quick Drying Stationery with Pocket Clip

I love the paper mate ink joy pens! I've been using them for over 2 years for school and love how well they write, my only issue is how common it is to smudge them, but they do dry quicker than most pens, just use caution when writing!

I love the blue Papermate Inkjoy I bought as a 2-pack, so I thought this was a steal! Unfortunately, the consistency of the ink, the flow of the ink, & the construction of the pen overall, were HUGE disappointments. While writing, the ink would thin out & then randomly get really thick, also skipping when I’d underline something & begin new words sometimes. The construction of the pen was also annoying. The second most important component of this pen, being the “click” mechanism, would get stuck & I’d have to try & click it back into place somehow. Overall, the ease that a simple pen should bring, is, unfortunately, NOT, with this particular brand’s model. I’d recommend the Pilot G2 for black gel pens, & this is coming from a lefty. If you find the right type of paper, it dries relatively as quick as the Papermate inkjoy.

The pen is very wide, I have arthritis and thus pen is hard to hold

Loved these pens so much because they write smoothly and dry super fast but both of the packs I’ve purchased skip constantly. It’s frustrating when I’m trying to journal and can’t even write a full sentence without it skipping.

I like the how thick and slick the ink comes out when writing. Also how comfortable to grip. Unfortunately, after writing for a seconds the ink stops. I have to constantly shake the pen to get it to start writing again. It's ridiculous and it happens often. I wouldn't buy these again

Idk what happened with the design of these pens. Brought two different packs and they both skip and don’t create a consistent flow. I have a turquoise colored one that writes smoothly and doesn’t skip but these black ones aren’t good.
