Paper Mate Ink Joy Gel Metallic Ink Pens 6ct

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pens are so fun! I love the fact they show up on light or dark paper. I love all the colors. When I tested these pens, it seemed like some colors wrote smoother than others, but that could have been because not all the pens had that little gel cap on the end. I’m hoping with more use the ink will start to flow a little better and faster.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly love the grey and the bronze colored pens! They add a little sparkle to notes or letters and provide a much needed change up from traditional blue or black pens. They feel smooth and fast on paper and glide when writing. The only reason why this is a 4 star and not a 5 is that the yellow pen was a let down. The ink was not as reliable as the other two colors and was generally difficult to see on traditional white paper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave these pens to my daughter, she loved the comfortable smooth design of the pens. It made for a nice grip, which is wonderful because she is an artist who uses a tight grip when working. The ink has a lovely pigment, making it high quality. We would suggest when using to let the ink dry a bit before rubbing over it, it did smudge a little (which you can see in the photo).

Most of the pens worked great, the pink was a bit choppy. And the gold wouldn't work well for me at all. As you may see one pen is missing in the picture my kids ran off with it before I could take pics. The missing pen worked but was a little choppy the rest of the pens have worked well so far, with a smooth flow for writing purposes. Considering the cost I would buy this pack of pens myself.

Very vibrant ink once it gets going. All colors consistently skip first 1/8”-1/4” of writing. Put pen down for 10 minutes and it will skip at next use. Every single time, every color. Very disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a kid I always gravitated towards shiny or glittery pens if I had any choice. This three pack is kind of like going back to being a kid but with a more mature looking pen, which is honestly kind of great. For the most part the writing is smooth (the bronze was a little iffy at first) and I really like the colors. Silver doesn't really have the metallic effect of the others but is still a nice color. Overall, I'm really happy with the pens and my kids are, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are so much fun! Inkjoy are my favorite pens, so I was excited to get some metallic ones. The bronze one is my favorite. I will say the silver can get a bit streaky but other than that, I'm very happy with the quality of these pens.

I love the colors and when they write they're great! but the ink skips way too much. I'll most likely be giving them away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These paper mate metallic gel pens write so smoothly. I tested them again on rough paper and oh my! They are simply magic. The color comes out perfectly with a metallic glow. You can write swiftly and the ink is very efficient, not runny and not spotty! When picking the pen up it will connect perfectly to the previous line. I highly recommend.

These pens suck especially the pink one. They skip like CRAZY and do NOT have consistent ink flow. Especially the pink one. The pink one makes me so mad. This photo is at its BEST.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I do a lot of journaling and planning, I was happy to try these Metalic Papermate pens! Once dry, they have a nice reflection to them in the right light, and you can detect tiny sparkles. I find the yellow and pink ones most reflective. I tried a writing test on them all, and after the first couple of words, they all wrote very well without skipping. Like other pens, you gotta warm them up. I am going to enjoy using these pens in my journals and would recommend!

The pen glides smoothly on paper and is still easy to read despite the metallic finish which was my only concern before trying them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My millennial heart was so excited to get these metallic gel pens! As an elementary school teacher, my students also love when I use them. I love the packaging of the pens, and they feel very nice to hold and write with. I also love that they are click pens, especially since the metallic pens I was used to as a kid always had caps I would loose. Three of the colors I received do not work very well, which you can see in one of the pictures I posted. I have shaken them and tried getting them started so many times and the color just won’t come out consistently. The darker colors seem to be better quality and smoother to write with. I now want tons of colors like my flair pens!

The size of the pen is nice and doesn't cause it hand to cramp when using them. The ink is such a pretty color and they don't bleed through even thin notebook paper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like to bujo & liked having multiple colors. Out of the package 4 worked perfectly & 2 needed some extra scribbles. I’m also a lefty, these didn’t smear like other gel pens have.
