Does not lather well so you have to use a lot. Also, left my hair greasy. Tried using multiple times thinking I just wasn’t rinsing well but it seems to be the shampoo.

Its ok i got semi curly / straight / thick hair i just work with it . But i use conditioner more faster then shampoo . Theres nothing on these bottles that read " curly thick hair " they expire in a year after opening . And big bottles could last up two years . Better off buying small then the smaller ones different brand lasts 2 years really? crazy........ its time for a change .

Great scent! I get my hair dyed/ highlighted every 6-8 weeks so I feel it’s important I have a shampoo that is for color treated hair and keep it looking fresh. It makes my hair look healthy and adds some body.

I bought this because I ran out of my beloved shampoo. I thought I would try something different. I would not buy this again. I need to use a lot to get a lather. FTR I have long, thick, coarse hair.

This shampoo is not color safe. The second ingredient is sulfates. Sulfates strip and fade color, and boy does this shampoo does just that. Sure, it cleans your hair, but it’s way too harsh. Not sure why they would put sulfates in a shampoo and label it color safe. As other reviews have said the same.

I got a fresh dye job a couple of weeks ago and have been using a non-color-care shampoo without losing too much color. I always use cold water for my hair. First wash with this, the suds were BRIGHT blue. This is the most color I've lost in a single wash in a very long time. The second and third ingredients are sulfates, come to find out. Beyond awful for a product that claims to preserve artificial hair color.

I was not too crazy about this shampoo. It is a bit hard on the hair and takes a ton to lather up. The result is good but I don't like the feeling on my hair when shampooing.

I thought I’d try your color protect shampoo and conditioner; what a mistake!! Three generations in our family tried it out and we all had the same horrible results! I have thin, fine, straight hair; my daughter has color treated with lots of body and grand daughter very heavy, thick hair with lots of body and curl do it’s not just the type of hair. After drying our hair had a greasy appearance and was weighted down by whatever was coating each shaft of hair!! Even after using the shampoo alone we had the same results! I expect better results from such a great named product!

It doesn't lather unless I use a lot. Conditioner doesn't do a anything. Hair is dry unless I use a product before blowing out. Haven't noticed if it protects my color. Very confused and will probably dump the products.

I love this shampoo. It has an amazing lather with a lovely pleasant scent. Leaves my hair extremely soft after only one use. So soft that you barely need conditioner. Provides immediate intense hydration and moisture especially to color treated hair.. It's color protecting aspects work great keeping color or bleached hair vibrant and lovely.

I love all the Paul Mitchell products they’ve always been so great on my hair and haven’t damaged or fried it ever. It helps bring it back to life again and shows it true color and let everyone see how shiny and beautiful my hair really is
