Paul Mitchell Smooth+ Flat Iron - Black - 1.5"

This was my favorite flat iron of all time INTIL I took it with me to Sicily, while using it with the converter I have used with all my previous hair dryers and flat irons, it completely burned out. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT IN EUROPE. IT RUINED MY VACATION BECAUSE I COULDNT DO MY HAIR. I don’t even know if I have any recourse with the manufacturer. Very disappointed!!

My first ever Paul Mitchell express ion pro tools hair straightener lasted 12+ years! It has been the best flat iron that I have ever owned (even after it started falling apart) so of course when it was finally time to say goodbye I came straight to this website to purchase another one. I cannot figure out how to keep the temp at 300F. Temp keeps rising and my hair cannot handle it. Hope someone can help me. There must be some way to adjust the temp.

I’ve been using this flat iron for the last 6 months and I loved it. I went to use it today and it won’t turn on :( expensive for the short time it lasted.

I bought a Paul Mitchell flat iron in 2005. I thought it was a bit pricey . Boy was it worth it!! It is still working 16 years later! I use it twice a week and sometimes as a touch up. I would definitely recommend this flat iron

I first found these flat irons in 2012 at the salon as well as a friends house. Easily one of my favourite flat irons although it’s really only good for that. I bought my own in 2013 and only am just retiring it now because my hair isn’t staying straight anymore and mine has also recently broken. I had the older model so I can’t speak for the new ones but if they are truly an improved version than it is most definitely worth the buy!

Let me tell you, this is the BEST straightener I’ve ever had. I had an older version of it and it died last week, which I’m sad about. But no joke it lasted me TEN years, so 10/10 well worth the money. :)

I’ve owned many flat irons, but this one, I loved right out of the box. Quick to heat up and the plates are smooth. Love the feel of it in my hand. A winner!

I bought this flat iron for myself as a birthday present to myself. I had always used a Revlon flat iron from Wal-Mart, and just got tired of not getting the results that I wanted. I absolutely love this flat iron! I have been using it for around a month now and have no complaints. I love the super long cord, I love that the buttons are on the inside so I don't accidentally hit them while styling my hair. It is so smooth and styles my hair just the way I want. I highly recommend!

I absolutely love this iron, it does a beautiful job. For my damaged, colored, keratin treated etc. girls (and boys) this iron does go down to temps lower than 250F! I know I was looking for something that I could use at 220 F and it wasn’t exactly clear in the information booklet I downloaded before purchasing. Highly recommend.

I've been a fan of Paul Mitchell hair products since I was a kid and when I saw this beautiful straightener, I thought I'd give it a try. It is amazing! It heats up quick, love the timer and straightens my hair really well! Definitely recommend! Plus the ombre is awesome!

MY GOD!!!!! This iron works wonders!!!! I have such ugly thick corse hair and this iron has absolutely overdone it self even in humid weather and my hair getting wet it has absolutely stood up the weather this iron is simply the best and I do not know why I didn’t buy it before!!!

I bought this for myself after trying out my daughter's. I love it! It's the perfect size for my stacked bob and leaves my hair smooth and shiny. The heat proof case is an extra plus and great for protecting it and also travel. I would buy it again and recommend it! My fave color, too!!
