First time trying Farro and it was a nice alternative to rice
A good quality product, might need a bit more time and liquid than listed.

I made this entire package following the instructions provided on the packet. I found it needed to cook a bit longer and could use more liquid than it called for but the grains of farro plumped up nicedly and had a nice nutty flavor. I wasn't quite sure how to use it, so I made a southwest salad with it and it came out pretty good.

So I had never tried farro prior to this so I was sure but it turned out pretty tasty. You can make it plain (the instructions are easy to follow) but I’ve been researching cold farro salads that sound delicious. Will be buying again.

This is my first time ever trying faro. I read it’s a really healthy ancient grain, packed with fibers. I love that this package is resealable, to keep it fresh and removes the need to put it in another container after the 1st use. On the back are the instructions on how to cook faro. Very useful and it cooked perfectly! The only downside is that this size is probably better suited for a 1-3 persons household, or if you want to try it out. As a family of 5, this would be a one time use.

This was my first time trying these and I was very impressed. We used them in a variety of ways . Made it like rice once and then added it to soup another time. It was something different that fit perfectly in with our diet.

I really enjoy farro, as it's as versatile as rice or any other grain, but has a distinct taste all its own. It's easy enough to cook, put in on and forget it for 15-20 minutes, come back and drain the water, and it's ready. Harty enough to be used in multiple recipes, and the flavor of the farro really adds to the dish.

This pearled farro was simple to cook and a great replacement for white rice. Cooked with salted water and plated with roasted vegetables. Looking to cook this also in a rice cooker in the future. Recommend for a healthy addition to your diet.

Not long ago I had a farro salad from my local deli. I enjoyed the texture and flavor of this whole wheat grain. I was excited to be able to try cooking some at home. The directions on the package were simple; boil, simmer and drain. The directions call for simmering for 15-20 minutes but I gave it another 5 minutes to get the consistency I liked. I first tried it as a starch along with fish for dinner. Even my finicky husband liked it. Next I used some in a simple cold salad with vegetables and an oil and vinegar dressing. Delicious. Next I'll be adding some cooked faro into a Tuscan bean soup instead of rice. It will add a nice complexity to the soup. I am glad that Target is stocking farro. It's not all that easy to find in grocery stores.
