    Very smooth

    I use this product for both hot coffee and cold brew. It has very low acidity which I really appreciate. There is no excess bitterness that some dark roast coffee have. FYI I drink my coffee black.

    Great coffee or espresso

    This was my goto coffee back in the day, we’d brew this in the office at least twice a day amongst others like sumatra and other dark roasts from Peets. Now that im retired, i dicovered this blend is pretty good as espresso shots and or lattes and has been my morning coffee of choice again making one or two lattes a day. Its just a nice smooth rich cup of coffee that has some rich flavors that are different from your everyday dark roasts. Even as espresso i can get a nice crema and easy to make delicious lattes, americanos or iced coffee its all good with this blend. Give it a try, I'm sure you will love it as much as i do.

    Switching brands.

    I am not sure if you changed your formula you’re roasting process or just what but the last two deliveries of major Dickinson Whole bean coffee has been weak and almost tasteless. Makes me wanna switch brands.

    Once-great coffee now has a sour note; flavor has declined

    For years this was our favorite coffee, although a less-frequent luxury buy. Happy to find on sale recently at Target and tried it again. Surprised and disappointed in the flavor. It had a sour note. Other customers online have noticed in recent years (--sale of the company?) that taste has declined. We're going back to our usual brand of coffee, which now tastes immensely better in comparison to Peet's Major Dickason's Blend.

    Underwhelming

    not great taste, weak aroma, grind not smooth enough for espresso. overhyped, in my opinion doesnt compare to italian coffee.

    Delicious! My new favorite dark roast

    Smooth dark roast. Much better than Starbucks Verona my usual dark roast. Starbucks tends to get acidic and be inconsistent. This is fresher tasting with a smoother richer taste.

    We use Major Dickson blend in our espresso machine all the time. We tried other kinds over the years and can't wait for the major Dickson blend coffee beans to come through again. Best ever!

    Good, not great.

    I had high hopes for this blend since a few members of an on-line community had recommended it, but I wasn't too impressed. It's not bad at all, just not any better than other brands, hence the average rating.

    So good

    I tried this brand based off of a coworkers recommendation and I have never gone back! You can literally taste the quality in the coffee, it's so rich without being bitter. I got my mom hooked on it & she's a light roast drinker through & through & even she loves this! Also love how there is always some sort of deal on this coffee. I always stock up! I use to love Folgers black silk, but now that's gross compared to this.

    Dark roast is rather bitter.

    Do not like the dark roast as it has a rather bitter bite to it as most dark roasts do. I prefer the smooth taste of the medium roast but cannot seem to find it anywhere. Was it discontinued? Am specifically speaking about the ground or whole bean coffee since K cups are not even in the same ball park as fresh brewed due to the fact that K cups are nothing more than instant coffee.
