Petlibro 3L RFID Dog and Cat Automated Feeder

We got it hoping it will stop my cat from stealing her sister’s food during snack time. She figured out how to open the lid. Literally the first day of us using it, she figured out how to open the lid… this led to our other cat not getting anything.

We have 3 cats each with different food requirements. Perfect for anytime but especially useful for multiple days. We were able to take a 4-day vacation. Had a planned sitter visit once a day to clean-up and provide one wet meal, also distributed in the feeder manually. Highly recommended.

Easily opened by other cats once they figure out they just have to lift the hinge of the feeder door. It was working well for my 20 year old cat for about a week but I'm needing to reevaluate the door. Overall my older cat is able to get some more food during the day but the cats on a diet are still taking some. I also wish it would have a scale to tell you how much they ate like the fountain does instead of not knowing if it has been empty all day. The lid also gets jammed by food pieces somewhat often which leaves it open.

I bought this for my senior and newly added kitten and I love how convenient the feeders have made our daily routines. It took about one day for the kitties to get used to them.

I absolutely love these. Bought one a few months back for my oldest cat because my other two were bullying her and she was gorging herself to get her fill and then throwing it all up. Shes been much happier and has only thrown up twice since I've gotten it when she was throwing up almost daily. Shes also put on some weight too. We bought another for our male cat because he could eat more but our youngest would sometimes push him out of the way if she finished hers first. So now he gets to eat a lot more and he's happy. We'll eventually get a third in the next couple months.

We have one cat who was eating the other cat's food… and he ended up getting a bit rotund. Now both kitties are getting the right amount of food. I give this feeder a 4.75/5. Microchip would be great and also if the flap could somehow not sit so close to the bowl when it's open. My cats won't eat the food too near it. Overall, these feeders have been everything we've wanted and needed in our home and I can't wait to see how this technology develops!

Unhappy with the product due to not being able to use with multiple cats as advertised. It's been returned. I still need to return my money.

This opens when my cat just walks by the feeder. Too sensitive! My other feeder only opens when the cat puts its head over it. Also it stays open too long where my other cat can steel a few bites.

It's perfect and exactly what we needed!

One of my cats needed to be placed on a special diet and this has made the transition seamless and easy for both of my cats to have their own feeder with separate food dispensers.

We have 6 cats, each with their own PetLibro feeder and they have figured out how to open the lid from being closed properly to steal the other cat's food. Please make these more secure & faster to close.

I purchased 3 feeders because one of my cats was eating the other two cats food and is overweight. Each time the feeders dispense food, if there is a little bit left in the bowl the food does not dispense all the way and the feeders become blocked. I think have to manually pick the feeders up and shake it out. Customer service suggested doing less food over a longer time period and it still happens. It kind of defeats the purpose of automatic feeding since I have to pick up and shake the feeders each day. Also the food amount that comes out is inconsistent. I measured what I set it to and what came it and it was a considerable amount more. If your cats have special diets and cannot eat the other cats type of food this may work for you but if you are looking for something to replacing the act of feeding everyday this isn't as helpful because of the reasons above.

The products are great for multi-cat family, one of my cats is on a diet to lose eight, and another one is a free feeder. The products helped me a lot to monitor their eating schedule and the amount of the food they are getting. Downside: the collar they provided is not durable, its easy for my cat to scrach it off, and they can not unlock it with their chips because its no longer on their neck. I wish it can use their microchips to open the lid so they dont have to wear the necklace. I also hope it can be upgraded to be similar as other products that I can monitor them remote with in-built camera.

We recently had my oldest daughter move back home from college with her 8yo cat Sam. He was stealing our kitten's (Leo) food, so we never really knew how much Leo was eating each day. Sam has a special diet of his own so eating the kitten's food is not good for him. This feeder STOPS all of that. Leo learned quickly how to use the feeder, He wasn't afraid of the gently slow opening action and now we know he is the only one eating his food. Sam is mad about it and has been vocalizing that he would like his own collar to open up that feeder- not happening buddy. haha

The cost of three of these feeders has already paid for itself in weekend trips that we didnt have to pay a cat sitter for. Being able to tell that all the cats ate while not at home is a huge stress relief. The adjustable lid closing speed is key for nosey cats that try to steal from my oldest cat. Now they all eat 2 ft apart with zero issues!!!!

So far so goo!!!! The other one lasted under 5 months and had lots of Network issues. I really like the smaller collar!!!!

I bought 2 for my new kittens so I don't have to worry about either of them overeating and they caught onto it very quickly

I love this feeder. I rave about it to people I know all the time. It has made feeding my three cats who are all on a limited prescription food diet much less stressful for not only myself, but my cats too. I can be sure that even on the days I work long hours they are being fed the right amount of food at the correct time!
