Petlibro 2.5L Dockstream App Monitoring with Additional Water Pump Cat Automated Fountain

Looks great, good connection, and worked out great at first, until it didn’t. Both water pumps stopped working within less than 2 months. First one lasted about a month and the second one lasted about a week. Initially they worked great when the water is full but then barely any water coming out once it gets to about 1/4 full. Which that was fine as I would clean and refill at that time any ways as it would’ve been about 5-6 days. But then it started having very low pressure with barely any water flow only 1-2 days after cleaning/filling to max. So no water flow even when water level pretty close to max. Just put in new pump about a week ago and it’s already doing the same thing. I noticed this started happening after the original filter that came with unit was replaced. But still using the same pet libro filters that are for this fountain so shouldn’t be an issue but who knows, I’m not sure what the problem is but really disappointing as the unit should last longer than a couple months at this price point. Also noticed there’s slimy build up on all pieces of the unit within only a couple days, so requires very frequent cleaning which is inconvenient and also wastes 3/4 of the water d/t dumping it every couple days to clean everything. Also sometimes alerts that my cat drinks water at times that she’s sleeping and nowhere near the fountain. Such a bummer cause my cat actually loves the fountain and doesn’t beg to drink out the bathroom faucet now lol, but then also gets mad and paws/scratches at it when the pressure is so low and barely any water is coming out. I have to keep a separate water bowl as well to ensure she always has water. I loved it too for the first few weeks when it actually worked correctly. Not happy at all and now need to start the search for a different one, again!

The unit is quiet and I really like the new internet feature that lets me see how much my pet is drinking. The down side is the plastic piece that holds the filter is flimsy and I feel like I'm going to break it when changing the filter. It also doesn't lock into place very well. I also thought the unit I bought didn't require a cord and would work on its own when fully charged, but I guess not.

I love everything about this fountain. It works great with the app and it's easy to clean and maintain. My only issue is after a few weeks, a few spots of rust or tarnish and discoloration started showing on the stainless steel pan. Even heavy scrubbing doesn't remove it. I'm sure it'll only get worse. It's unsightly (makes the pan look dirty) and I'm concerned about it contaminating the water. I'm hoping PETLIBRO is willing to send a replacement pan. If their customer service works like that, it would be a 5 star fountain for sure.

We had an older Cat Water feeder from PETLIBRO. Although good, it was a pain to clean due to the cord and the pump was nasty after about a year. However this cat fountain is wonderful! No wires, easy to clean and you can even take the pump apart to clean as well. Love the WiFi alerts about low water and to replace the filter and clean. Great updates to a good product making this now great! 👍 Thanks

I love how smooth and lightweight every part is. Easy to clean, assemble and use. I am not a fan of adding more apps to my life and it wasn't easy to get this bad boy set up, but once it was working it has made it a relief to know my cat took to it quickly and drinks often. I bought a second one for a friend as a gift. I know he will be as pleased with it as I am.

This is the best water fountain and the app is so helpful in keeping track of what my kitty drinks and when to clean and change the filters. Cleaning is a breeze. The wireless pump makes it so easy to take out and clean. I love how you can see how much water your cat is drinking and for how long. This is so important for cat owners! It's also so quiet. No hums or splashing water and the stainless bowl keeps the water nice and fresh. I have an old model of the automatic feeder that I've had for 4 years and it's still going strong so this company has quality products!

I only use Petlibro products. I have 2 Petlibro automatic WiFi feeders and 2 dockstram fountains, one is WiFi. Love, love, love the customer service! Best ever. I have given Petlibro products to my family members as gifts. My cats love the fountains

3/4 cats love it and took to it right away. My older girl is a little less accepting. Super easy to clean and I like that it came with a small brush. App is great, as a person with ADHD I like the reminders to fill/clean/replace filters.

After two days, lost network connection and will not reconnect. Located next to granary feeder working perfectly with good network connection. Support email sent but no response.

Love everything about this fountain. The only thing I would request is to be able to choose the frequency of notification of how much water my cat drinks. I get informed every time she goes to the bowl and it's a lot. I like that I don't have to remember when to change filters and clean the pump as the app tells you everything. The other thing I would want is also to change the frequency from every two weeks to a touch longer but overall the best pet fountain I've owned as it is whisper quiet.

This water fountain, as well as all the other PetLibro products, is amazing! Both my cats love it and I find very useful to have the app where I can track their water intake. It easy to put together and clean. Love it!

Dockstream water fountain takes all of the worry and uncertainty of providing clean drinking water for my furbabies. From the ability of knowing how much water they are consuming to receiving alerts of the water level and changing the filters gives me peace of mind that they are hydrating adequately even in hot weather.

I was worried that she wouldn't drink from it so I put it in my bedroom. If she did drink from it I would heard it. She only looked at it so far but she finally drank from it today, 1.52 Oz at 4:16am. It took a week for her to finally drink from it.
