This toy has potential, but I returned it. Yes, it is loud like other people stated, but my cats didn't seem to mind. First I wish it was motion detected and that it had different speeds. My cats played with it but since it goes so fast and they never have the opportunity to "catch" the toy they lost interest very quickly. Once I turned off they did play with the feather that was sticking out. This toy has potential with a few modifications.

Was anticipating an awesome toy for cat, but ended up with a scary, noisy one. Concept is good but operation does not fall in step. The mechanical sound is loud and scary, deafens the chirping one.

This would be a great toy if it wasn’t sO loud. As soon as I purchased the C batteries and powered up the toy, I knew it was a mistake. Both cats darted away from it due to the noise. It even scared my dog, who ran over to get between me and the screechy, mechanically squeezing contraption. I left it on for 3 minutes-in which time it cleared the room of furbabies and gave me a headache.

I love the intent, but the mouse is poorly attached. My cat ripped it out in 2 days. The speed is perfect for multiple cats yet they still managed to destroy the mouse. I like that it has various holes where it randomly comes out. But as I said, the mouse is not durable.

Not sure how to put it but this toy is just way too fast , the Pop should have been slower, to give more time for the cat to be stimulated. At least for my cat. I like the two different sleeves, the amount of holes they pop out from and the simplicity of the toy. It is just way too fast, there should have been an adjustable dial for the speed.

The sound of the machine running didn't bother them at all. Their favorite is the mouse I could watch them all day.

The little mouse sporadically pops out of each hole for a seconds before popping back in - I thought my cat would go crazy for it. And he WOULD have...except once you turn it out, the motor that cranks the toy is really quite loud. Sort of a grinding, mechanical noise. My cat wouldn't come anywhere near it. That said, our Vizsla puppy couldn't get enough and played with it all day. But as far as a cat toy goes...I think you'd have to have a pretty brave cat in order for this to be a success. Bummed.

When you turn it on the noise of the motor is really pretty loud. It is hard to hear the "chirping" noise over it. I think this is really off-putting for my cat. She only is really interested in the toy when the motor is off. She does enjoy both attachments, the feather and the mouse, just not when it is turned on. She has played with it a little when it is on but not as much as I thought she would. She just sits there and watches it most of the time and then looks at me confused. It is a really cool toy. If your cat doesn't mind loud noises, they will probably like it.

Then after a few minutes she was trying to get the feathers that were poking in and out of the holes. Makes great chirping bird sounds. 6 C size batteries and automatic shut off after 15 minutes which is about how long it holds her attention. She loves it and my dog does too lol!

It is super cute and provided a good amount of play time and involvement for my cats. It was super easy to start up and is nice and small so it doesn't take up a ton of room. Highly recommend this toy for your cats.

It comes with a couple of options for the pop out toy - either a purple feather or a little stuffed mouse. The device takes four C size batteries, that are not included. There is no option for an AC adapter or usb plug. The motor is a little noisy as it whirs around, but I didn't think it was that bad. You can choose to have the toy make chirping sounds as it pops out, or turn that part off. My cats just wouldn't get into it. I tried for about a week. Even tried it with the small dogs. No takers. The toy does everything it's supposed to. I think it really just depends on your pet's personality. Mine are party poopers.

The mice move around at a good pace to keep their attention as well.

I put in the 4-c batteries and then turned it on and watch my cat go crazy trying to catch the feathers that goes in and out of the different holes. Then I unscrewed the feathers and added to mouse to it and turned on the sound, sound just like a mouse.
