High-performance brush heads let you focus on all areas of your oral health, while our Smart Sensor technology gives you personalized feedback and coaching. There are 4 brushing modes: Clean mode for daily cleaning, White+ for stain removal, Gum Health for gentle but effective cleaning of the gums, and Deep Clean+ for a refreshing, thorough clean. The metal tip that supports the toothbrush head becomes loose rendering the toothbrush useless. Apparently it’s a screw that rattles loose that is not accessible to tighten. Too bad, was a good brush but falls apart relatively quickly.

2nd unit I have bought. 1st one lasted about 18 months before it died. This one lasted less than a year. Have bought them for family members and theirs die far too fast as well. UPGRADE YOUR COMPONENTS/QUALITY CONTROL OR YOUR PRODUCT IS DOOMED.

The metal tip to attach the brush head gets loose after 2 years of usage. According to online information, it appears to be caused by a loosen screw on the mechanism inside after vibration over time. It is not a good idea to use screw or nut and bolt on a vibrating mechanism as they get loosen. In addition, it doesn't provide user friendly access to tighten the screw. Totally bad design to where screw is needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the way the toothbrush lets me know when I put too much pressure on gums. Was told my gums looked abraded after having switched to another brand over a year ago. FYI, one's gums never recover. Never again - back to Philips' quality!

My previous Philips electric toothbrush lasted about 8 years…but this one is a nightmare, and I regret buying it. Same problems as everyone else here. Original HX992P lasted 8 months, replacement lasted 36 hrs. It seems like the motor is too strong for the other parts so everything falls apart

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a difficult transition but I do feel it’s a great toothbrush. I have a very small mouth and you no longer have compact brush heads Th heads are quite larger than I’m used to. I do enjoy the other features of the toothbrush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using Philips Diamond Clean toothbrush for several years and have always loved it and our dental exams show it's working. Sadly, old faithful finally gave up the ghost after several years of service. So we upgraded to the latest version and, wow! So much better than even the previous version. Looking forward to several more years of good exams.

This is my second sonicare to stop working. There is soething fundamentally wrong with them and they have to be using super cheap components as they are breaking way too quickly. The cost relative to the reliability is as bad as any product I've ever used. FIND OTHER BETTER OPTIONS.

I have had this toothbrush for 4 years and it still works just as it did when it was brand new. Other than replacing the brush heads and charging it, I haven’t had any problems with this. I have traveled with it extensively with no problems. Very worth the price tag and definitely would buy again.
