PicassoTiles 40 PC Mini Race Track, Magnetic Tiles Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I saw this I thought of my 4 year old nephew immediately. After receiving it, I think the older toddler years are the perfect start with this set up, assuming you can also buy additional tiles. The versatility is great for their little imaginations to make and change your tracks easily. I love the signs although they’re tough to get in the hole so I imagine he’ll need help with it. The car is big enough for little hands to maneuver, and it’s bright so it won’t be lost as easily. One AA battery and it ZOOMS The different colors are great for learning while playing. There aren’t many small pieces, so I have peace of mind letting him play with it without worry. Over all this is a great learning toy that won’t feel like learning!

Very durable as they have not broken it for the month they’ve had it lol way safe no small pieces included to swallow and the magnets just allot you to snap to together in different patterns!

The pieces are bright colored and durable. Teaching her to look at the photos for instructions to help build the track has been a lot of fun. Highly recommend!

My kid really enjoyed it . It also takes a AA battery it didn’t come with one but I had one on hand . It’s very safe we didn’t have any problems with it .

Setup was easy enough for most young ages. Going to start searching for other toys from this brand because they look to be interchangeable.

He put the magnetic track together, I put a battery in the car and he’s been occupied for 30+ minutes. I am already looking at additions to this set.

There are a lot of smaller pieces, but my kids definitely loved playing with us and they like that you can change the design of the track. I need to see if there’s ways to expand it but they definitely had a lot of fun with this it does need batteries, which is the only drawback, but it still is fun and they were not getting bored with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both of my kids love this. They were so excited when I opened and said this package is for you guys. It is a super cool little toy. It even lights up. There is a bunch of magnetic tiles that you can choose to play with or to make a track for the car. This toy is solid. You don’t have to worry about them being too rough and it breaking! Kept my kiddos busy for hours. They love it! Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm giving this a 3 star only because it is fun and my child loves it so much. After playing with this for the last couple hours with my kid, I've learned a few things: First, It is VERY hard for a child to pull apart the tiles from the bridge supports without breaking the little nibs off. In a couple hours, my son has already broken 3 supports and gotten the nibs stuck inside 3 pieces of track. On top of this, some of the tracks don't want to click into the support nibs easily, so you either can't use those supports or you have to almost force them together and then, again, they are very hard for even an adult to pull apart without breaking them. Second, the magnets in these tiles are pretty weak, especially compared to all the other magnet tile sets we have. As soon as he bumps the track even a little bit, they pull apart and have to be fixed or the cars won't work. Third, it only takes a couple hours of intermittent use for these cars to drain an Energizer AA battery. One of the best batteries you can buy, and a tiny car drains it in a couple hours? And they weren't even consistently on. That just seems a bit ridiculous. What's going on in this car that that's all the play he gets with a good battery? Overall, yes this track is very fun, a really cool toy that my son absolutely loves to play with. But the durability is crap, and the tracks don't stick together well. Would I recommend it? Sure, if you have that much money to blow, your kid will definitely enjoy it. But don't expect it to last very long, at least not the bridge supports. And expect to go through some batteries quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids are 3 and 5. They both liked this toy more than I think they would. The 3 year old is happy just to assemble it and see the car goes by. The 5 year old would be happier with more pieces - which I may end up getting for him. They both have and love regular magnetic tiles, so they had an idea of how things in this set works. Size is small, and they have a specific format (raised sides, etc) to work with the car. But otherwise the logic is the same. One thing to note is that the car doesn’t come with batteries, and I couldn’t find anywhere on the package the info of what type of batteries it takes. But once we figured that out, everything worked great as it should. The package comes with pieces to make it either an elevated road or a lower road. It also comes with some road signs that can be used to make the road more fun. If I could change just one thing I would make it compatible with the regular sized magnetic tiles. That way, kids could build a whole town out of the pieces. They still can do that, the pieces just don’t exactly connect to each other.

The magnetic tiles in this set are very sturdy and high-quality. They have a nice weight to them and the magnetic connection is strong, allowing you to build all sorts of creative structures. I've built several race track layouts and the tiles hold up well, even with the car racing around. The LED car itself also feels well-made - the lights are bright and it zips around the track smoothly. This race track set is incredibly easy to set up and play with. The magnetic tiles click together intuitively and you can build the track in endless configurations. It's great for both kids and adults, as the open-ended design allows for a lot of creativity and imagination. The included instructions provide some helpful layout ideas to get started, but you can really let your mind run wild.
