Q: What makes this product different than the Pixi overnight glow serum with 10% glycolic acid? Does this product also have 10% glycolic acid? More or less?

A: Pixi's Glow Tonic Serum has more of a lightweight texture and can be used day or night which allows for more flexibility in your daily routine. The Overnight Glow Serum is a thicker consistency with a higher % of Glycolic acid which is designed to be part of your nightly routine only.

The overnight glow serum damaged my skin barrier, just like other 10% glycolic products I’ve used. I believe this one has around 5% glycolic acid, along with cucumber, glycerin, and aloe to help soothe the skin. I use their glow tonic (which is also 5%) without any issues, so that’s my reasoning.

A: I know it has less than the Overnight Glow Serum which has 10% and I think this serum has a lighter feel and soaks in quicker to my skin!

A: The Glow Tonic Serum can be used AM/PM as needed. Massage 2-3 drops onto cleansed, toned skin before Moisturizer. We recommend using SPF in the daytime, especially when using a product with Glycolic acid.

I did not like the product because of the residue it left after apply my moisturizer. It made my skin look nasty & dirty. Serum is very silky & very different from dermalogica serums I am used to. It does get the job done though! I just wouldn’t use it if leaving the house & not applying anything on the face.

I normally don't write reviews, but really wanted to give praise to Pixi for this product! This is literally the only serum I keep coming back to and the only serum that has helped with my breakouts/acne and evening out my skin. The consistency is thick but drys feeling light-weight, little does go a long way, it sits well under makeup, and under moisturizer! I use this in the am/pm pairing it with a lighter moisturizer and it does justice to my skin! Would 10/10 recommend!

This is my holy grail skincare item. I have oily, breakout prone skin, and since I've started using this, my breakouts have become practically nonexistent. When I do break out, the pimples are smaller, less angry, and usually go away in a day or two. This stuff is miraculous.

As if I’m not already in love with most Pixi products, I’m now super appreciative of the expanded line. I really like that there is now a glow serum I can use during the day, but I wish that Pixi made a moisturizer with an SPF to go with the glow products. (Yes, I’m aware of the Sun Mist; I just wish Pixi carried more SPFs.)
