Plunder A Pirate's Life Game by What Do You Meme?

This is a great game! It has similar mechanics to Settlers of Catan, but the theme is pirates. If you like Catan, you will like this. Game isn’t the same, but many of the game rules function in a similar manner. The pieces are detailed and well-made. A lot of thought was put into the game design - they even have a diagram of how to put the pieces away in the box.

But after reading through the instructions and just hopping into the game we fell in love! The box is sturdy and everything has its own little spot inside! The pieces and cards are such high quality, I am so impressed! My husband and I love playing with our 10 year old but look forward to playing with some of our friends too!

Visually stunning, this game was very fun to play! A lot of set up but once you got to know the game, it was simple. Would definitely recommend to a friend, will 100% play again.

Bought this on Amazon a while ago after a couple recommendations. Everyone was right when they said it's a great pirate version of settlers of catan. Doesn't take 4 hours to play, easy to learn, highly recommend to all board game groups.

Hosted a game night and this was a hit! Talking like a pirate was a lot of fun. Will def be playing again

I have played similar games as this one were you must read and maybe watch a YouTube video to understand the rules of the game. But once you understand the game it’s very fun. The board is durable and well designed.

A little more time consuming than the 20 mins / player but it’s fun and gets the whole family involved. Not a bad learning curve either! This will become a staple for us! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The game is so fun, especially if you’ve always dreamed of living the life of a pirate. There is a learning curve to this game and the rulebook is 14 pgs. long. You have 3 lives while playing the game, choose your choices wisely!

The board game and all the ships and such are very nicely made and durable! Some of the harder to conquer islands, could give extra resources. It’s a great strategy game. Our 12 year old enjoys it but out 7 yr old doesn’t show any interest in it. This game can have up to 6 players.

I played Plunder for Family Game Night and now we play every week! Both the young kids and adults are addicted!

It's a little on the high end when it comes to money. Takes a while to get set up and play, up to 6 people can play so great for parties!
