Polka Dot Portable Record Player Cream/Black - kate spade new york x Target

This is my first record player so I can’t exactly comment on the technical side, but I can say that it’s the most adorable portable record player that produces good sounds. This is more than enough for me :). Iconic polka dot pattern is featured on the outer case. When you open the case, you’re greeted with the Kate Spade black and white stripes with the words “Let’s Dance” in gold letters. The instructions are detailed and straightforward. Very useful for a newbie like me. I’m using the built-in speakers and the sound is pretty decent (volume is fairly loud), but will also set up bluetooth to see how it performs otherwise. You’ll need to charge the player for about 3-4 hours first before use. Follow the provided instructions closely, and you’ll be dancing away in no time. So far, no issues and this is the best and most unique item from the Kate Spade x Target collab. Snag one while you can!

I was so excited to receive this record player and aesthetically, it lools beautiful. Technically and performance speaking though, it is garbage... It keeps skipping and I was playing 2 brand new records so there was no scratches or debris on them. The arm is rigid and won't advance past mid record. Let's say you want to play the last song on the record, I couldn't get the arm to position itself there without forcing the arm which I didn't want to do as I was afraid to break it. The sound is mediocre but perhaps that's normal on a record player. Overall disappointed and will be returning it because it will not play a full 33 record without skipping multiple times on each and every song!

Looks great and sounds good for an all in one. Skipping is a problem. I saw a tik tok hack where you can tape a penny to the top of the cartridge and that has helped the skipping.

Super cute however right when I placed a record on it.. it wasted no time skipping. Returned the product right away

The sound of this record player surpassed my expectations to my amusement. I paired it with the Kate Spade speakers and my goodness, the sound is just as good or better than my portable Bose speaker. Amazing, I forgout about the high quality of the sound from wax records - WOW...Super Happy with the purchase. No skipping unless the album is dirty or scratched .

Really cute but all it does is skip. Not worth the cost.

I have waited a couple years debating what kind of player to get, nothing totally grabbed my heart until this one! I love the look and design as this screams me. But I too have had every record skip. Also it’s like the arm won’t go to left past like half way without sliding back down a bit on the record. Im debating keeping just for decoration but dang, that’s an expensive decoration!

I was impressed…very easy to set up and use, sound quality was way better than expected and I was able to use my blue tooth speaker and headphones. No issues with skipping. Love the look. Glad I took a chance on this, very happy!

The aesthetics and functionality is exceptional, and the experience is seamless. There's zero skipping and the flawless quality and build are noteworthy.

Really wanted to love this player. It’s a beautiful item, but when I played my vinyls, the songs were skipping and the vinyl was scraping the back of the case while turning. I’m bummed out that I have to return this. For the price, I hoped it would have been designed better.

Even though it is cute it skips every record we have so I wish they made a non-portable one because I have looked it up that portable record players always have a problem.
