I like that i can use this at home. It works good even for my heavy Ultra 23. It gives you the option to put it in the car as well. I haven't tried that as of yet. I like it!!

I used this desk and car mount for my car. I had it suctioned to my windshield so I can view my maps while driving, unfortunately the suction cup and spring broke and i was not able to fix it on my own :(

Tried to install it like 5 times and each time the adhesive would lift up and drop my phone (iPhone pro max) can’t hold the weight and the tape is trash

I brought this because I spend a ton of time in my car for work. It was great for two weeks and now I can put my phone in it. The bracket is unstable and my phone spins. I wanted to live this but it is just sitting on my dashboard now.

I've now purchased 2 of these from the PopSocket website and BOTH have broken in under 6 months of use. I have a Galaxy S24 Ultra, and while it's a pretty heavy/large phone, I wouldn't say it's any more so than most these days. This thing has actually separated from the base where you can see the spring hanging out, so it's not as if the adhesive just failed. In addition, one of them broke at the base of the big loop that you can bend around - it stopped holding weight and would just flop around. It's frustrating because having the PopSocket makes it difficult to use other phone mounts (since it has that extra bulk on the back) and yet the one specifically made for it isn't reliable either. It was nice when it did work, I guess.

I wanted this to work out but the adhesive did not hold at all. I followed the instructions to mount it on my dashboard but it was unable to hold my iphone 14plus. I tried putting it on the windshield and had the same problem. I ended up finding a different one elsewhere that worked better.
My phone won't stay in the dang thing!

The part that the pop socket actually slips into is too flexible. It turns upside down, and my phone just falls out of it. There should be a way to lock it.

I really like this. It’s my favorite pop socket phone holder HOWEVER I end up having to replace it almost every summer. I don’t know if it’s from the heat - but for the last two years I’ve come out to find that it has fallen off and it gets dirty from the floor and then it won’t hold to the windshield for more than an hour or so. It’s so expensive to keep replacing but I can’t find another one I like as much.

I have had two of these mounts and both broke within a year due to the same issue. The lever and internal mechanism used to spring lock the mount is cheap plastic. The internal piece breaks off after a few months.

Only used it once. Placed it in the car on the smooth dashboard surface. Took time to position it for my comfort. Then fell off and broke revealing the springs inside within the next 10 minutes of use. THIS is not it!

Initially, the lever worked well (flexible yet firm), but after about 6 weeks it became too loose and I was not able to tighten the screw enough to secure my phone from spinning around like a pin-wheel! The suction is good as long as the surface it adheres to is very flat. I really love my other MagSafe pop socket accessories so I am bummed this didn’t work out. The amount of times this became loose unexpectedly became a major driving distraction and safety concern. I previously used the vent clip mount but the weight of my iphone and the small surface area the clip attaches led to my vent breaking. TLDR: Would not recommend.

The bottom would no longer stick. So I purchased a new one and now last week yes it will not stay stuck on my dash with my phone it is is hot and humid I am kind of disappointed because I have a hard time finding car mounts for my car
