A: These are BPA-Free and Food Grade plastic with a silicone seal to keep the containers airtight and a stainless steel clasp on the lid. There is no glass on this product.

A: Yes! But the freezer can expand/contract silicone seals on any container, which is why we suggest to use these in the pantry. Progressive has other storage items designed for the freezer!

A: There are measurement marking cup sizes are as follows: Flour (16), Sugar (8), Powdered Sugar (8), Brown Sugar (6) & Mini (1.5). Keep in mind the capacities are slightly larger than their markings!

A: Yes they are! Each lid has small lip to allow for containers to be stacked vertically. Only the largest one (Flour Keeper) cannot stack on the others due to the size of its base.

I love this set. Got it at a really great price, as it was on sale just after Christmas. Love that pretty much every container has something unique about it that relates directly to what the company suggests you store in it. For the longest time, I had my baking essentials in random containers. These look tidy in my pantry and are much more functional.

Flour and sugar still not quite big enough. I would like a container at least large enough for 10# each. The brown sugar container fits a 2# bag exactly! I have not really moved into the two smaller ones. Good tight seals.
