Q: How long does it stay in?
A: Hi! Duration of colors can depend upon a variety of factors: condition of hair, depth of color, frequency of washing, use of styling aids or heat tools, exposure to sunlight, salt, chlorinated water. For best results with Manic Panic hair color, we recommend pre-lightening your hair first to a pale blonde-level 9 or higher. This will not only help the color show up as vibrantly as it should, but it will also help hold the color in your hair properly. On hair that has been properly prelighened, most colors will gradually fade within 4-6 weeks.

Q: How light so you need to bleach your hair to get it a bright green?
A: Hi Blair! For best results with Manic Panic hair color, we recommend pre-lightening your hair first to a pale blonde-level 10 for a bright green like our Electric Lizard. This will not only help the color show up as vibrantly as it should, but it will also help hold the color in your hair properly.
